General Hospital (GH) Spoilers reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is about to find out that life goes on even in grief. He will find an unlikely kinship in Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) soon. Cody has been reeling over the death of Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for days and he wants so badly to make sense of it all and undo his final weeks with her. Left with so many questions about how she really felt and what he could have done differently, Sasha may be able to help Cody sort through his feelings in a way no one else can. Is this sudden friendship going to serve as the building block for something bigger down the line?

Grief is new for Cody, at least in this respect. Normally, he isn’t around in one place long enough to grow attached to anyone, much less become romantically interested in somebody. It surprised him the way he fell for Britt, especially given she was just supposed to be a mark he could use to get to what he thought he really wanted — a fortune. As it turns out, Sasha has that, and it may not be all it’s cracked up to be. Cody has come to realize the things that really matter are relationships with good people, and Sasha might see that in him.
General Hospital Updates – Sasha Gilmore Can Show Him The Ropes
Not only is Sasha experienced in appreciating the little things in life, despite fortune and fame, but she knows a thing or two about what Cody is going through — on more than one front. Britt and Cody did not have a relationship that could be compared to Sasha and Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) marriage. Still, they’re both grieving the loss of the person they loved and hoped to share their future with. Sasha might have some kind words for Cody about how to forgive himself for not being who Britt needed him to be in the end. She may also be able to shed some light on how to move on from deception, assuming he has the nerve to open up to her at all about his decision to forsake a relationship with his father, Mac Scorpio (John J. York). It’s unlikely he will give Sasha the details, but she could be the perfect example he needs to see if someone who betrayed a good person for the wrong reasons and still managed to make it all work out in the end, as was the case for her and Nina Reeves (Ch this Watros).
Trauma Bonds
This might just be an off-chance encounter. These two could rarely cross paths again, or they might end up friends who lean on each other from time to time. Those occasions could turn into more, which fans might love to see as two broken-hearted people grieving love lost find their way back to themselves and forward in love.
