General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Nina Has A Change Of Heart – Does Valentin Have Chance?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have a change of heart in an upcoming episode of General Hospital. Does that mean her pining ex-husband Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might have an “in”?
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Has Been Getting Friendlier With Valentin Cassadine Since Kicking Jasper Jacks To The Curb
General Hospital viewers will remember that when Nina had her big blow up at the Metro Court with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and it looked like it was Valentin and Nina against Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jax! This was when Nina found out that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) had been her daughter, and Jax had been covering it up right along with Carly! Since that show of support and others Valentin has made sure to show Nina, she has been getting a little friendlier with him.
Most recently, he stopped by her office to lend a shoulder after the death of Franco Baldwin, (Roger Howarth) who she had once been involved with. Nina is accepting her ex-husband’s friendship and that is something – she came to realize that even her Prince Charming wasn’t such a prince, and Jax’s lies weren’t like Valentin’s. Valentin lied to try to make her happy, and she has realized his heart was in the right place, even if his methods weren’t exactly honest.
The worst issue she has with Jax is that she has realized that Carly will always come first with him; she understood they have a teenage daughter together, but Jax puts Carly ahead of her and she won’t stand for that! At least Valentin always, always, put Nina first and she has finally come to appreciate that of him!
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Has Been Supportive But Not Flirtatious
Valentin has been supportive, but not flirtatious with Nina; he has had a desire to get back together, but he knows not to come on too strong! Now, she needs his friendship and support much more than his romantic pursuit of her and he knows that. He comes to her with no agenda, no ulterior motive and that is why she is learning to trust him. Things happened way too fast when they first got together, and they really didn’t have a strong foundation for a romance.
They just kind of fell into bed shortly after they met, with Nina having gone from Silas Clay (Michael Easton) in her heart at least, to Ric Lansing, (Rick Hearst) who used her, and then Valentin came along! That is the best thing for Valentin and Nina now, for them to be close friends and co-parents to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and rebuild their relationship that way.
But Nina is getting closer and closer to Valentin, and even letting him appreciate what they once had with each other – Valentin thinks he might have an “in” with her, but he wisely will let her lead where it goes this time! If he moves too quickly, he will frighten her off again and he doesn’t want to be just her next rebound, he wants it to last this time!

i don’t care one way or the other, with nina and valentin. because he is still a liar.
Yes he is and that won’t change. Perhaps Nina will be using Val this time around and as mentioned, he has in no way been flirtatious with Nina. I think in this instance he wants to help, and if he can score some points okay, but not the sole purpose of his intents.
When will all these ‘smart” people decide to do a DNA test to determine if Nina is indeed Nelle’s Mother and inturn Willey’s grandmother ?
