General Hospital Spoilers – Monica Quartermaine Likely Witnesses A Confrontation

Other General Hospital spoilers tease that Brook Lynn and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will get into an argument about Maxie visiting the baby, who Monica knows as Bailey Lois Quartermaine (Harper and Scarlett Bloom). General Hospital viewers will recall that “Bailey” is really Maxie’s baby with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who no one knows yet is dead.

It is understandable that Maxie, who everyone thinks lost her baby Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) to a kidnapper, likely her birth father, would be comforted by frequently visiting Brook Lynn’s baby who was born the same day. General Hospital viewers can expect that Monica will not find out the truth about Bailey’s true identity by witnessing or overhearing part of Brook Lynn’s argument with Maxie, but will likely try to help Brook Lynn see Maxie’s point of view.

More than likely, the warning that Monica gives Brook Lynn will be that she could make Maxie’s very emotional situation even worse by coming down on her like Monica apparently witnesses or overhears. It is an intolerable situation for a woman to not know where her baby is, if she is okay, or indeed, if she is even alive! While Monica has never had a child to be kidnapped, she has had two natural children who died, adopted children who have died, and two stepsons who were presumed dead – Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Drew Cain (most recently Billy Miller). Over the years, Monica has come to think of her step and adopted children as much her own as if she had given birth to them, to her credit.

General Hospital Spoilers – Monica Quartermaine Tells Brook Lynn Quartermaine To Chill Out

General Hospital viewers will recall that “Bailey” technically has never existed. Maxie had to come up with some kind of a plan to keep Louise safe from Peter when she was born. At the same time, Brook Lynn had concocted a fake pregnancy by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who she had a one night stand with prior to leaving Port Charles for several months. She even carried the scam over to her own mother Lois Cerullo (most recently Rena Sofer) who believed the pregnancy was real.

Brook Lynn’s intent was to get her ELQ shares back from Valentin to put the company back into the Quartermaine family’s control. But Maxie is really having a hard time not staying away from Louise, as Brook Lynn had previously cautioned her; until Peter is captured and brought to justice, Louise has to remain Bailey. But as General Hospital viewers know, Maxie and Brook Lynn have not thought this plan out to its conclusion. At some point, the truth will have to come out and at this point, both Brook Lynn and Valentin are in love with “Bailey” and the longer it drags out, the harder it will be to give her back to Maxie!

But in the meantime, Monica does have a warning to Brook Lynn along with an admonition; she will need to strike a fine balance with Maxie – not come down too hard on her and chill out with the drama. But, at the same time, she needs to be cautious that Maxie does not become too attached to a baby who isn’t (supposedly) hers!
