General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Michael’s Attention Drifts Away From Willow As Dex Closes In On Sonny

General Hospital: Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hasn’t been paying much attention to the troubles he’s facing at home, and it shows. From the start of his agenda to stick it to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Michael hasn’t been paying as much attention to his own family. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) didn’t mind as much when she was busy with nursing school and started working regular shifts at GH. She was busy, too, and was hardly going to hold it against Michael for not being at her beck and call. Then, Willow got sick, and the last thing she wanted was Michael zeroing in on what she was up to. However, now that he’s in the loop, Willow just might pay a steep price for Michael’s preoccupation with his father.

General Hospital Spoilers — In The Dark About Willow Tait’s Diagnosis

When Willow found out she was pregnant, Michael was thrilled by the news that they would be growing their family together and giving Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) a little brother or sister. It wasn’t long at all that they were living in that bubble of joy before reality ruptured it for Willow and left her with a gray cloud of cancer hovering above her every move. She kept the diagnosis from Michael for months, and while many people in Willow’s corner might have questioned her intentions in doing that, the bigger misstep here that few have highlighted is how Michael managed to not notice what Willow was struggling with all those months — or how he could have through pregnancy alone left her in such dire straits. The truth is, Michael has been overwhelmed by his plan to ruin Sonny, and he’s not sharing much of that with Willow either.

General Hospital: Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)

General Hosptial Updates – Michael Corinthos Isn’t Coping Well

Right now, Willow is feeling supported by Michael, but they’re starting to disagree on how to manage things moving forward. Willow is worried that as soon as their family knows she’s sick, Wiley will start to pick up on it as well. Michael can’t assure her she’s wrong, but she’s pretty bad off and they need all the support they can get. While he thinks it’s high time they tell everyone else, she wants to remain tight-lipped. Soon, Michael is going to let the truth slip to someone else as he reaches his breaking point with the crippling secret that is breaking his heart.

Distraction Doesn’t Bode Well for Michael and Willow

Their discord is going to continue to push Michael to focus his efforts on things he does feel like he can control, like his plan with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to ruin Sonny — something Willow has encouraged him to drop. It sounds like these two aren’t on the same page in a few ways. If Willow manages to survive her battle with cancer, will she and Michael survive their battle of wills? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead!

[…] As Maxie droned on about Austin blackmailing Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) by pushing him to run his Society Setups algorithm on her and Austin, Cody was taken aback by her disgust — knowing he’s no better than Austin, and did what he did for even more shallow reasons.
