General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny Corinthos, is mulling over the possibility of doing an “interview” with Mike and Sonny. The actor hosts the State of Mind, where he could carry out his plan.

For months, fans have been clamoring for Sonny to regain his memories back and return to his family and his old life in Port Charles. They finally got what they wanted but things are no longer the same. Sonny may have recovered from his amnesia, but a part of Mike, the identity he had to live when he can’t remember anything, is still left inside him.

The actor told his fans on Twitter that Sonny has changed. Viewers of the soap may have noticed the difference in Sonny’s actions and behavior before and now that he’s returned to Port Charles.

Sonny’s Nixon Falls storyline didn’t sit well with many fans. But there were also those who enjoyed seeing a different side of Sonny. His portrayer has been very vocal about the exciting experience he had as he did something new with his character after several years of playing the part. Even though his alter ego didn’t have multiple personalities, he believes that Mike, to a certain degree, was his own man. That’s what led the actor to think that it’s a good idea to “interview” both Mike and Sonny.

GH Spoilers: Maxie Apologizes to Nina

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) apologizes to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for telling Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about what she’s done. She regrets her actions and wished that she allowed her to come clean. In a way, Nina may still be grateful since she didn’t have to face Carly that day.

As she continues to talk to Nina about Sonny, she’ll start to wonder why he didn’t tell Carly anything. Nina said Sonny was happy back when he was in Nixon Falls. But Carly had no idea that they fell in love with each other and planned to have a future together.

Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will break the news to Carly, which will surely leave her fuming. Sonny will eventually have to face Carly and explain himself.
