General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease there’s danger ahead for Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) on GH because of his “mob promotion”!
General Hospital Spoilers – Brad Cooper Didn’t Want To Work For His Aunt!
Viewers will recall the last thing Brad wanted to do was work for his Aunt Selina Wu (Lydia Look) because of her mobbed-up life! That became especially true after he found out that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) nearly died after he delivered his breakfast in Pentonville Prison! It’s not like there was any love lost for Peter and it would have been a blessing to Port Charles if he had died then!
Brad just didn’t want to be blamed for Peter’s death, and he figured out his Aunt Selina was behind it somehow. And she was after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) put a hit out on Peter in prison-it’s just too bad that someone saved his life!
General Hospital Updates – Brad Cooper Doesn’t Mind What He’s Doing For His Aunt Now
Brad put up a fight at first when Selina brought him home from Pentonville, after jumping through some hoops to get him paroled! She expected him to work for her and she wanted to groom him for her much too small mob family-but he refused! Selina’s the only one left in the Wu crime family besides Brad and he didn’t want to cooperate; she has a couple of unrelated henchmen but the family Wu is pretty small. He wanted to come back to General Hospital, but he wasn’t hired, and besides, Selina had blackmailed Britt with an old crime she committed with her father. He finally agreed to run her high-stakes poker games at The Savoy, and for now, he doesn’t mind since there doesn’t seem to be any danger.
General Hospital Spoilers – A Promotion To A Real Mob Job Would Bring Danger
But since Brad is happily running the poker game, Selina will soon want to move him up in the organization and make a real mobster out of him! As someone who is trained in laboratory work and serums and potions and such, he could be a real asset if he applied himself to the ancient Chinese arts! The Asian mob is known for poisoning their enemies and Brad could create poisons, if she couldn’t get him over his fear and timidity and make him her assassin!
But Selina wants to eventually make Brad a real enforcer with no fear and no timidity. That may be asking a little much of such a gentle-natured guy but that’s her true goal!
He’s In Too Deep, Britt Westbourne Fears And Regrets Pushing Brad Cooper
Selina will likely push Brad deeper and deeper into the mob life, and soon he’ll be in way too deep to get out! Once someone’s in the mob it’s very difficult to get out without being wiped out, and Britt will fear for Brad’s life and regret pushing him to take that poker job!
Britt will have good reason to fear for Brad’s life, as Selina wants complete control of him and will put him into more and more danger! Brad could get in the middle of a mob war shoot up and be shot and hurt or even worse, and Britt will blame herself!
