General Hospital fans already heard that Ryan Paevey (Nathan West) was set for a return to Port Charles, but on Thursday, he unconventionally confirmed it on social media. Actually, it seemed to come with some wry humor.
Confirming The Return
Late on Thursday, Ryan took to his Instagram profile page and shared a nice photo of himself. Over the top of it, he also posted two screenshots of headlines. One was from Deadline, and the other from People. Actually, both websites had confirmed his return for September.
Of course, it’s not clear how or if Nathan West might fit into the storyline. Perhaps, it ties in with the fate of Maxie Jones? Anyway, in his caption, the GH star rather wryly wrote:

Fans React In The Comments Section
Many people took to the comments section to respond to the post, and to float their own ideas about what might happen next on the daytime drama.
One of them wrote, “I know it’s been a long time, but you and Maxi were my favorite couple. I was so sad.. now Maxi is in the hospital so maybe it is gonna be you coming back as Nathan. Only you know!”
Others hoped that it wasn’t going to be a cliched comeback with a clone of some sort. One fan said, “it better not be a twin!” But he’s not giving away any spoilers, and in the comments and replies, he said, “I guess you’ll have to watch to find out.”
Other ABC fans asked Ryan Paevey about his return date, but he didn’t reply. If you don’t know, People only reported that sometime in September, he will grace the screen again.
