General Hospital spoilers tease Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is going to make sure his girlfriend, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), understands where his loyalties lie. He wants custody of his baby brother, Ace Cassadine, but would he really let that come at the cost of his relationship with Trina? Perhaps. As it turns out, Trina may not be completely irrational in worrying about Spencer once again living with his ex-girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

Spencer will keep up his act of being the doting big brother who is open to forgiving Esme for a while, but it’s just not going to stick the way he had hoped. So far, he hasn’t been the best at keeping his real feelings to himself, but as he and Esme continue to be forced to spend more time around one another, it’s going to be hard for him to ignore the changes Esme has made in her life and the person she appears to be now. As he warms to her, he will still insist that his only goal is gaining custody of his little brother — even if it means lying to himself.

Spencer is going to spend a lengthy period of time reassuring his girlfriend that she’s the only one for him — to the point that she’ll start to doubt her own instincts and tell herself how silly she is for questioning him. But then he’ll spontaneously end his relationship with her. Although Spencer won’t want to be without Trina, he’s going to have to pull off a rather convincing break-up — and that means not clueing her in and telling her it’s all a ruse so he can convince Esme he’s single and ready to mingle.

Spencer is going to assume he can fake it ‘til he makes it and fool Esme into thinking he’s into her once again. In the back of his mind, he’ll still wonder if she is pretending to be suffering from memory loss. If she isn’t, she may be onto his act far more than he is aware. That being said, Spencer is going to do his best to woo Esme and convince her they’re falling in love all over again. If he can get himself in the right position where she trusts him, he just might get what he was wanting all along — his little brother. However, he may also end up finding out that what he wanted is changing. Is Spencer going to end up truly in love with Esme again?
