General Hospital Spoilers: Nina And Phyllis Have Some True Confessions For Each Other
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will have some true confessions for each other in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – Phyllis Caulfield Wishes “Mike” Had Been Someone Else
General Hospital viewers will recall that before “Mike”, also known as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with amnesia, got his memories back, Phyllis was all for “Mike” and Nina to find happiness together. General Hospital viewers will remember that “Mike” and Nina were falling in love, and Phyllis wanted both of them to be happy. “Mike” had made it clear that he was happy where and with whom he was, and didn’t care to pursue finding out who he was in the past or who may have been missing him. He figured if they had wanted to find him they hadn’t tried very hard.
But when he got his full memories back, he went back to Port Charles right away with the help of Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) who put him on his private jet. That, however, was only after making sure Nina and Phyllis were safe, after Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had tied up inside the Tan-O and set it on fire. Sonny was knocked out by falling debris but it brought his memories back. As Phyllis and Nina sit together and talk, Phyllis admits to Nina that she wishes “Mike” had been someone else single and unattached and certainly not a mob boss!
GH Spoilers – Phyllis Caulfield Was Disappointed In Nina Reeves For Being Dishonest But She Is Still Nina’s Friend
General Hospital viewers will recall that Phyllis was disappointed in Nina for being dishonest about her knowing “Mike” was Sonny all along. But in this heart to heart talk with Nina, she also tell her that just because she was disappointed and a little angry it doesn’t mean that she’s not still Nina’s friend. General Hospital viewers know that Nina is very ashamed of herself and even though she is still trying to fight feelings for “Mike” deep down inside, one of the worst things was her assumption that she had lost Phyllis as a friend.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Feared She’d Lost Phyllis Caulfield’s Friendship
General Hospital viewers could see Nina thinking that she’d lost Phyllis’ friendship, because Phyllis seemed to be giving her the cold shoulder at times. Phyllis admits she was hurt at Nina’s dishonesty but can see why she wanted to keep “Mike” as “Mike” in Nixon Falls, having seen the danger that “Mike” as Sonny encounters and sometimes even causes as mob boss Sonny Corinthos! General Hospital viewers know that Nina is sorry, but she is grateful that Phyllis understands why Nina wishes in a way that things could have stayed as they were, not only for her sake but for Sonny’s as well! Both Phyllis and Nina can see that Sonny was literally a different man in Nixon Falls – not stressed, not always looking over his shoulder, and truly happy!
GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Apologizes For Her Dishonesty
General Hospital viewers will see Nina apologize to Phyllis for being dishonest about knowing who Sonny was all along, and Phyllis will forgive her. Phyllis says that as she gets to know Sonny better as Sonny, that “Mike” is still there inside, in his acts of kindness and consideration. Observant General Hospital viewers will also agree that “Mike” encompassed the best parts of Sonny Corinthos, and that the version of a kinder and gentler Sonny is still inside.
Nina agrees that “Mike” is and was always a part of Sonny, the part that got shoved down inside himself frequently because of the dangerous life he has always led since he was a child in Bensonhurst. Nina and Phyllis agree that whenever they have the opportunity, they should encourage Sonny to acknowledge that part of himself!
