General Hospital Spoilers: Ned Has To Defend Himself Once Again

General Hospital: Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth)

General Hospital spoilers reveal Ned in the hot seat once again when Drew makes it back from Greenland.

General Hospital Spoilers – It Must Be Ned Quatermaine, Right?

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is the one who pointed out to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) engaged in insider trading when Aurora Media was supposed to merge with ELQ and Calry bought up all that Aurora stock. When the deal fell through, Carly lost everything, including her precious hotel. Now that the SEC knows what Carly and Drew did, they both assume, along with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), that Ned turned them in.

Michael was the first to accuse Ned and then Carly began suspecting him, but Ned denied everything and said he would never have tried to do that to them and ruin Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen)latest deathbed wedding. However, neither one of them believe him.

General Hospital Updates – Drew Cain Jumps On The Bandwagon

When Drew returns from Greenland and Carly fills him in on what happened at the wedding with the SEC, he also jumps to the conclusion that Ned is the one who ratted them out. He doesn’t just confront Ned with words, however. Instead, Drew uses fists.

General Hospital: Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)

“Drew loses his temper and punches him in the face,” Cameron Mathison said in the May 15, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “But after he hits him, instead of reeling, like, ‘Yeah, I did this and this is why I did it,’ Ned is continuing to plead innocent.”

Still, Drew does not believe his cousin at first but then thinks about things some more. He can’t imagine why Ned would turn Drew in when he was out of town. While Drew sees the situation as weird, he still can’t imagine who else would have done something, so in his head, it has to be Ned.

“Drew feels a lot of desperation as he’s trying to figure out a way out of this situation so that he doesn’t go down for this — and that Carly doesn’t go down for this, first and foremost.”

Will all that mental detective work lead him straight to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), a woman who makes impulsive choices whenever Carly pushes her to the edge? Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.

  2. […] General Hospital spoilers reveal Willow continuing to be Carly on an unearned pedestal. To Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), being mean to her when she was a third-grade teacher is much, much worse than letting her believe her mother was dead. Having the woman who kidnapped her and pretended to be her mother pimping her out to a cult leader was also not as bad as a personality clash with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). […]

After all, he saw Victor’s need for control and how toxic it was, as one of his uncle’s hostages. Spencer could have an epiphany and realize how influenced he was by Victor, and how ugly he’s acted as of late where Esme and his brother are concerned. He absolutely should be a key part of his baby brother’s life, but is ripping him away from his mom the answer? Spence may see this move as something Victor would do and decide it’s time for a change. […]
