General Hospital Spoilers: Natalia’s Past with Sidwell Ruins Her Sparks with Sonny?
General Hospital Spoilers boast Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) has been cozying up to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in recent weeks, becoming his trusted confidante and ally in his search for answers about his heart health.
Now, with the future looking a bit brighter upon receiving news that he just needs surgery to be on his way to a healthier life, Sonny may continue to rely on her to get him through this seemingly minor ordeal.
But it appears that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could complicate matters as he is drawing nearer to Natalia. Fans were surprised to find he was interested in what Natalia was up to Los Angeles, not Sonny, in particular.
But now that he knows who she is spending her time with, will he zero in on both of them? If so, will the truth about Natalia’s past come out and leave Sonny feeling a certain way about her failure to clue him in sooner?
Natalia is in Sonny’s Corner, Alone
Natalia’s past is something she has kept close to the vest so far in her dealings with Sonny. Maybe she thinks he might judge her for the decision she once made to be married to a guy like Sidwell, but it makes little sense given the line of work that Sonny is in himself.
If he were to cast judgement on Natalia, he’d be judging every woman he’s ever been involved with. At the same time, there is a serious slow burn between Natalia and Sonny.
This is the first time in forever that he’s spent time with a woman and taken it this slow. It’s also the first time in forever that he’s stayed single for so long.
Natalia has been feeling pretty alone in Port Charles since Alison ‘Blaze’ Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) left, but maybe she and Sonny will be able to stem the pain of loneliness for each other.
Sidwell Has Business in Port Charles
It seems that Sidwell has a strong interest in making Port Chuck his home base, but he has more than one reason he might have chosen this location.
While it’s certainly suspect that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) — people he’s recently made enemies of — all live there, Sidwell’s desire to keep tabs on his ex-wife might have more to do with him taking up residence on Spoon Island.
Things Don’t Look Amicable
Judging from Natalia’s interaction with Sidwell outside of Deception the other day, it’s safe to say these two didn’t part on very good terms.
What happened in their past is likely to drip out slowly in the weeks to come, but that doesn’t mean that news is going to meet Sonny’s eats right away.
Rather, Natalia could choose to do everything in her power to keep her marriage to Sidwell a secret. But will that make it look like she was being complicit if it turns out it has been Sidwell targeting Sonny?
