General Hospital Spoilers: Is Jake Elizabeth’s Only Stalker Problem?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that there is a possibility that the mystery of who is stalking and gaslighting Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may not be as solved as she thinks it is, even though Jake Webber (Hudson West) worries his mother won’t forgive him. General Hospital viewers may see this worry play out in a therapy session, or as a result of it.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jake Webber Has Been Dealing With A Lot Of Grief
General Hospital viewers know that Jake has been dealing with a lot of grief, after losing his beloved stepfather Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and his birth father Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in rather short succession! Then there may still be some issues from when he was held captive by Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) as a child, though Jake said in a recent General Hospital episode that he was all over that – but childhood traumas have a way of burrowing themselves into the subconscious.
Franco had experienced that himself, which is why he was so good at relating with Jake and Jake with him, he knew Franco understood him; Jake was even closer to Franco than he ever was to Jason, although Jason’s death definitely affected him! These were the reasons that Jake has been a suspect in the bizarre occurrences that have been happening to his mother, although he had been denying it!
GH Spoilers – Betsy Frank Has Been Cleared, Heather Webber Is Unlikely, Jake Webber Worries He Won’t Be Forgiven
General Hospital viewers will see that one possible suspect has already been ruled out, and one is very unlikely; General Hospital viewers will recall that Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang), even though obviously disturbed, was ruled out. Franco’s birth mother, Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) could definitely pull off the kinds of stunts that Elizabeth has been gaslighted with, but it’s very unlikely since she is in an inescapable psychiatric prison; besides, not even a sympathy card has been mentioned from her.
It’s possible that Heather doesn’t even know Franco was murdered; Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) hasn’t mentioned anything about her since Franco died, and besides, it was Betsy who raised him and who Franco knew as his mother. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) continues to be concerned over the situation, and he’ll get to the bottom of a mystery right before Jake worries Liz cannot forgive him for what he’s done – or so Finn might think! What if the bizarre Franco-related incidents continue and Jake denies the newer ones?
General Hospital Spoilers – Could It Be Dissociative Identity Disorder And Elizabeth Baldwin Has An Alter, Or Could It Be Another Person Entirely?
General Hospital viewers have suspected that the gaslighter could be Elizabeth herself – or, actually an alter if she could have developed Dissociative Identity Disorder, once known as a split personality. General Hospital viewers who watched “One Life To Live” when it was still on will remember Victoria Lord (Erika Slezak) had several, and none of them knew what the other ones were doing! It is possible, with all the grief and stress that Elizabeth has been under since Franco developed his second brain tumor and ultimately was killed by Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and the financial problems started even before that.
Viewers will remember Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) had cut everyone’s hours at General Hospital when he was in charge, with both Franco and Liz’s hours being cut! But it is also possible that the stalker is someone else – perhaps from Liz’s past or even Franco’s past, and has been watching – and will pick up the mischief again; or, could Jake himself have an enemy trying to frame him?
