General Hospital spoilers tease that when GH- first came to Port Charles, he had one goal and one goal only. Cyrus wanted nothing more than to kill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and take over his territory.
Sonny has been the head of organized crime in Port Charles for decades, even though he strictly forbade the trafficking of illicit drugs in his territory. But drugs were Cyrus’ primary business so there was no chance for the two of them to come to any type of compromise.
General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault didn’t care who got hurt!
Cyrus has no qualms about killing people in order to get what he wanted. For example, he provided Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) with all the product she could want.
What Sasha didn’t know is that Cyrus was actually testing the strength of the drugs and Sasha overdosed and almost died. Cyrus also wanted Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) killed, so he ordered Julian Jerome (William Devry) to plant a bomb at the Floating Rib.
The resulting explosion killed several people, and has left Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) in a coma ever since. These are just a couple of examples of the carnage Cyrus brought before he was finally sent to prison.
GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault was drawn to Laura Collins!
Not long after coming to Port Charles, Cyrus ordered Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to steal a couple files from the police archives. He was searching for information on Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Cyrus and Laura were both shocked to learn that they shared the same father. He longed for her approval, even as he continued to do horrible things.
Once he went to prison, he claimed to find religion and said that he was a changed man. Cyrus was eventually released early when the courts deemed he was too weak physically remain in prison. Ever since, he’s tried to get Laura’s approval and love.
General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins is falling for Cyrus Renaults act!
Several months ago, Cyrus goaded Sonny into beating him within an inch of his life. Somehow, this led Laura to begin to soften toward her brother and turn against her long-term friend Sonny.
Laura seems to have forgotten that Cyrus is the reason that her only daughter Lulu is in a coma and shows no signs of recovery, Cyrus seems to have found God, but could he have really have changed that fast. Or is he just pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes until he’s ready to strike again!

If Cyrus is really on the up and up with his recent so called connection with God and his other attempts at trying to become a decent citizen of PC I’d really be surprised. As with Ava, Cyrus has something up his sleeve other than his arm. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was a part of the Pikeman mess. Cyrus has always wanted a in to the PC waterfront and I don’t believe that has changed. Heck, he may even be working with Selina Wu – who knows what the heck Cyrus is thinking. Glad Martin is back and may be able to talk some sense about Cyrus to Laura as Laura is being presented very questionable these days.
