General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Regains Access to Sonny’s Business, and the Don Sets Him Up for Ruin
General Hospital Spoilers reveal Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is on the precipice of infiltrating Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization all over again.
How many times can this storyline be reinvented? We’re about to find out. Dex is chomping at the bit to help destroy Sonny’s empire — even if it’s only because he resents the guy for the effect he had on him.
Dex didn’t appreciate being backed into a corner and coerced into attempting to kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but he followed orders.
That choice ended up costing him Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy). Now, Dex might think he’s on the road to redemption, but he could underestimate Sonny’s keen sense of perception.
While he thinks he’s duping the don all over again, rumor has it Sonny will be setting Dex up the whole time.
General Hospital Spoilers — Dex Worms His Way Back In
It may seem rather unbelievable right now, but rumor has it Dex will be able to get back into Sonny’s good graces. Or at least, that’s how it’ll look on the surface.
Despite his lapses in judgment over the last two years, Sonny is still as sharp as a tack. He knows when someone is lying to him, even if he can’t always pinpoint what the truth is at the same time.
So when Dex tries to re-enter the business, Sonny is going to be suspicious of him right off the bat. But knowing it’s best to keep his enemies closer, he’ll let him back into the fold just to keep an eye on him.
GH Spoilers Hint Sonny Takes the Bait — Willingly
Dex may be stunned when it seems all too easy to get Sonny’s forgiveness, but others — like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) — will probably convince him not to get caught up in the details.
After all, he’s going to get what he asks for. How can he really complain about that? Trusting himself to get the job done, and knowing he has the security of the PCPD and possibly the FBI on his side, Dex will migrate seamlessly back into Sonny’s employ believing he’s setting him up to fall. He couldn’t be more wrong.
General Hospital Spoilers — An Eye for an Eye
Sonny knows the best way to exact revenge on someone who has betrayed him and is to give it right back to them. He’s always been an eye for an eye kind of guy.
So when he sees the opportunity to work with Dex again as a chance to bring him to his knees, he won’t hesitate. He will know something isn’t right with Dex; he’s not a good liar. He still gets nervous when dealing with Sonny, and it’s written all over his face.
This time, Sonny will be prepared with people like Brick (Stephen A. Smith) on his side. While Dex thinks he’s scooping up evidence to set Sonny’s world on fire, Sonny will be putting faux evidence into his hands and setting Dex up to pay the ultimate price for his betrayal.
