General Hospital Spoilers: Agent Cates Recruits Spinelli For Dangerous Mission, Return Of The Jackal!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been working undercover for John Cates (Adam Harrington) and the FBI for over two years now.
Jason was blackmailed by Cates with a specific task. Jason was to infiltrate the Pikeman Group and work his way up their ranks.
Jason’s last task was to participate in the assassination of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Cates instructed Jason to make sure the sniper missed which is exactly what Jason did.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan tried to save Dante Falconeri
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) caught a glimpse of Jason and his partner after the assassination attempt was thwarted. He caught up to the duo and was shot by the other gunman.
Jason shot the gunman and worked to save Dante’s life while he called for help. Jason then escaped but eventually turned himself in while Dante’s life hangs in the balance.
Jason’s cover may be blown thank to his best friend Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Spinelli had no idea that Jason was alive when Sonny asked him to set up surveillance the night of the attempted assassination.
GH Spoilers – Damian Spinelli was caught by Agent Cates
Spinelli left his fingerprints on the camera so it didn’t take long for Cates to track him down, eventually arresting him for withholding evidence.
Cates eventually let Spinelli but charges could still be pending. Because of Spinelli, Jason could be placed at the site of Sonny’s attempted murder.
Not only that but now Cates could have leverage over Spinelli as well as Jason. Although Jason can’t very well return to Pikeman, perhaps he can use the knowledge of what he’s learned to help take Pikeman down in a more direct way.
General Hospital Spoilers – The return of Stone Cold and the Jackal!
Jason and Spinelli have been quite a formidable team for decades. Together they have saved Port Charles over and over again.
Perhaps by bringing Stone Cold and the Jackal back together, then Cates will finally have the team in place to bring down the Pikeman Organization and save Sonny and the other mob bosses being targeted.
Although Jason isn’t one to really show emotion, he will certainly be thrilled to see his best friend once again.
