General Hospital spoilers and updates tease danger for Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as they confront their past. Is an old enemy lurking with intentions to take them down?

General Hospital Spoilers: Racking Their Brains To Find A Connection

Ava and Sonny are wracking their brains to find a connection between themselves and their pasts who might want both of them dead-even though it’s not just them.

Sonny is so laser focused on the shooter being a rat in his organization, and people connected to him, he can’t understand that mob bosses all over are being targeted.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) tried talking to him about the mob hits and the intel from John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) and Cates told Sonny too-Dante was rebuffed.

As for Ava, her older sister Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) having been executed on a Pentonville prison transport brings the threat closer to her.

The shooter at the island may have been trying to take both of them out, but Sonny’s still hung up on the security being breached-it doesn’t take much for a hacker.

GH Spoilers: Now The Threat Is Closer To Port Charles As Well

Now the threat is closer to Port Charles as well-Pentonville Prison is just outside of Port Charles. In Sonny’s mind, the person who’s on the inside of his organization and a traitor must be an enemy of both his organization and the Jeromes.

Ava is the only survivor of the Jerome Crime family, and she’s not even a full sibling-she didn’t know Julian Jerome (William DeVry) growing up.

The only person that was a threat to her, Julian and Sonny back then was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) who Julian had been blackmailed by.

But how would Cyrus have any knowledge of the island or the security system-and who in Sonny’s organization is in bed with Cyrus?

Everyone they know of who had been an enemy is dead-Sonny had been sure it was Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) based on the opinions of Brick (Stephen A. Smith).

Try as they might, they can’t make a connection to anyone back that far who could be in Sonny’s employ and Sonny and Victor Jerome (Jack Axelrod) had no common enemies.

And yet, as they struggle to confront their past and examine it, an old enemy could be lurking close by. Ava is getting scared and Sonny doesn’t show fear, but he’s determined to find the rat who’s causing the problems!
