General Hospital Spoilers: Anna And Dante Thwarted, Who’s Jagger Trying To Protect?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease once again, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are thwarted by John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington).
The FBI was supposed to be cooperating with the PCPD on the investigation into the mob boss murders and the attacks on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard); who’s Jagger trying to protect?
General Hospital Spoilers: This Is Getting Suspicious
Anna had a plan that was going to work or so she thought, to smoke out the leaker in Pentonville who knew about the transfer of Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker).
That prison mole would know who at least one of the murder plotters was and that way they could bring them in for questioning.
But here comes Cates and puts the kibosh on the whole thing, again complaining of interference in their FBI investigation-both Dante and Anna think it’s getting more suspicious.
They’re not sure whether Cates has too big of an ego and wants all the credit or if there’s someone he’s trying to protect and he’s gone dirty! Could someone be blackmailing him with threats to his autistic son?
GH Spoilers: They Want To Give Him The Benefit Of The Doubt, But…
They want to give Cates the benefit of the doubt but he is constantly scotching every step of progress they make, starting with their arrest of O’Neill (Jeff Leaf).
Anna and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) both spent a night in jail over that and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) forced the issue of their release, and Anna took the job offer.
It’s puzzling and frustrating to Anna and Dante as to exactly why Cates keeps sabotaging their efforts when they’re supposedly all on the same side.
Anna took away Cates’ excuse of civilian involvement when Jordan has stayed within her function of Deputy Mayor and Anna and Dante got involved. Anna flat out told Cates to stay out of her way as the Port Charles Police Commissioner-she’s hands on and boots on the ground.
General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Falconeri And Anna Devane Want Answers
Dante and Anna want answers as to why Cates is interfering more than helping-they’ve got a suspicion that it’s because of his grudge against Sonny.
After all, Dante is Sonny’s son, therefore-and Cates complained to Anna from the get-go about her friendship with Sonny, but he blew it all out of proportion. Anna is very angry at Cates thwarting her and Dante from following through on a legitimate lead again.
Mr. Special Agent Ego Guy needs to take a step down and let Anna and the PCPD do what they set out to do. Again, Anna will tell Cates to get the hell out of her way!
