General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease four mob bosses down, and more to go, could the Mob Boss Murderer be another mobster? There’s one young mobster who’s now the boss by default after his family was killed-could Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) be the killer?
General Hospital Spoilers: Joey Novak Was In Poland, Not Far From Germany
The last times Joey was seen he was making trouble in The Savoy, and the first time his uncle Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) sent him to Poland for a few months.
Poland is bordered by Germany on the west, with Berlin a short four hours away, so that connects Joey to the area where the WSB arsenal was breached.
Vincent was killed in a car bombing along with another mobster in a limo meant for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) after their wedding.
Later, Joey returned and suspected Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was responsible for the murder of his brother Paulie (uncast character) and again made trouble at The Savoy.
That time, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) beat him badly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) threatened him in the hospital, forcing him to step down as the head of the Novaks.
GH Spoilers: Joey Novak Forced To Give The Novaks’ Territory To Sonny Corinthos
At that time, Joey was forced to give the Novaks’ territory to Sonny, after Cyrus had tried to take it previously. The Novak family was also known as the Five Points Gang and was one of the original Five Families, and Joey is the only Novak left.
FBI Special Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) formerly known as Jagger, told new Port Charles Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) four mob bosses had been taken out.
All were killed with a weapon stolen as a group of weapons from the WSB arsenal in Berlin, Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) being the fifth. Of all the crime families once in the Port Charles area, Joey, Mateo Ruiz (Robert LaSardo) Sonny, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) are left alive, and Cyrus.
General Hospital Spoilers: Joey Novak Has All The Connections
Mateo Ruiz is a priest and may not be targeted, he is the twin of the late Manny Ruiz (Robert LaSardo) but Joey seems to fit the Mob Boss Murderer.
Cates said that all the attacks on Sonny, including the Metro Court pool where Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was shot and the attack at a warehouse were all related.
The murder of Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) may be related as well-but Joey fits all but maybe that, although Austin was connected to Cyrus and Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Joey was four hours away from Berlin where he could have robbed the WSB arsenal, and could want revenge on the Ashfords, Cyrus and Sonny. It makes a lot of sense that he could be behind the Mob Boss murders!
