General Hospital spoilers tease a big shock for Alexis as Valentin continues his quest to help Nina come out on top.
General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin’s Bombshell
Since his relationship with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) ended, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) seems to have a lot of extra time on his hands and is determined to help Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) best Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). His idea of helping her start her own magazine to compete with Crimson is a bust, so he does something else.
When Valentin arrives in Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) Invader office, she is happy to see her cousin but her joy turns to shock when he asks if she has spoken to Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) yet.
When she mentions she has an email from him she needs to read, Valentin just goes ahead and drops a bombshell. Shawn just sold him the Invader.
Nina Enters The Picture
After Valentin makes his announcement, Nina shows up and Valentin looks like he has even more news for Alexis. Is he ready to fire Alexis and make Nina editor-in-chief or does he want Nina and Alexis to try to work together?
Alexis already hates Nina for turning in Drew for committing a crime and Alexis even committed her own crime when she blackmailed a federal judge to get Drew released from Pentonville.
Clearly, Alexis will not want to work with Nina unless the writers forget more recent show history — which very well could happen because that happens all the time.
Will Valentin’s purchase be the impetus that Alexis desperately needs to try and get her law license back? Alexis as a journalist has been weird and she needs to revert to form, so maybe Valentin’s big move will be good for everyone.
Nina gets to run a publication again. Alexis gets to practice law again and more wrongs will be fixed before the new writers’ shows start airing in March.
Alexis is already giving legal advice to half the town for free anyway, so she may as well get her law license back as Nina continues to show Carly and Drew that they can’t ruin her life.
