General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus’ Payback, False Intel To Sonny Planted On Drew?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) payback to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might be by planting fake intel to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had paid Drew a visit and Sonny needed to know who Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) had visited at Pentonville.

Previously, Cyrus had talked Drew into playing a game of chess with him, and Cyrus mentioned he loved playing chess because it teaches to anticipate an enemy’s move.
But Cyrus didn’t anticipate Sonny’s move of planting fake Pikeman intel, which Austin had brought in taped to a pill bottle cap. This got Cyrus a reaming out by Warden Ellen Garten (Diahnna Nicole Baxter) when the FBI, sent by her, found Pikeman crates full of coffee beans!
Warden Garten may be the female boss that Mason Gatiln (Nathanyael Grey) and Austin referred to, working with Cyrus. So, arranging for Drew to obtain false intel for Sonny to act on would be the perfect move-and Cyrus overhears Drew talk to a guard.
GH Spoilers: Drew Cain Talked To A Guard He’s Friendly With
After Sonny and Carly left, Drew went and talked to a guard he’s friendly with, both oblivious to Cyrus listening in, hidden around a corner. Obviously, Drew felt he could trust this guard or he wouldn’t be offering to try to get the guard’s son an internship at Aurora Media.
It’s kind of a bribe, but it’s presented like a favor-kind of a I’ll scratch your back if you’ll scratch mine, and the guard told him he’d try. Honestly, if Drew had thought a little harder he could have pieced the correct information together on his own-Cyrus had just gotten out of GH after Drew saved his life. But now Cyrus knows how to lead Sonny astray, and bring big trouble for him as well-maybe worse than the FBI!
General Hospital Spoilers: False Flags Lead To Big Trouble
Cyrus’ false flag will lead to big trouble not only for Sonny on the outside but Drew on the inside-Cyrus will plant the info so the friendly guard gets it.
Since Sonny told Drew it’s got to be someone inside Pentonville, Cyrus will make sure it’s one of Sonny’s enemies, leading Sonny to the wrong person and Drew to be targeted.
We already know Drew is beaten badly and taken to GH, so whoever Cyrus’ false lead is might instruct their people on the outside to target Sonny and his family!
It’s been implied that Mason was one of Cyrus’ thugs who kidnapped TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and held him captive a few years back. Cyrus might instruct Mason to contact the others he worked with to target Sonny and his loved ones!
