General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Wright Pays Tribute To Jacklyn Zeman, Get The Tissues Ready!
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the passing of actress Jacklyn Zeman has left a giant opening within the cast of the ABC sudser.
Zeman portrayed Bobbi Spencer from 1977 on, and was both a fan favorite and beloved among her co-stars. Laura Wright plays Carly Spencer, Bobbi’s daughter, and she just opened up about her loss and we have her poignant words for you here.

Zeman passed away due to her battle with cancer, on May 9, 2023. Wright talked to Eldredge ATL prior to a recent fan event and shared reminiscences about Zeman from their work on the 2023 Nurses Ball storyline.
Wright said that “Jackie was incredible and had the best stories on the planet.”

The annual Nurses’ Ball event is filmed over a matter of days and Wright said “When we shoot that, there’s a lot of time for chit-chatting and all of our stuff is stashed under the table — your water, your phone and we’re sitting on our scripts.” She shared that she and Zeman “had five days that week of sitting and hanging out … from eight in the morning until nine o’clock at night. It was such a gift.”
Also at Carly and Bobbi’s table for the event was Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and her bestie Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Wright said “The four of us sat together so I was like, ‘Jackie, tell them this story or that story!’ She had travelled the world and had the most incredible life experiences, both on and off camera.”

Wright concluded “It was incredible to get to have that full week with Jackie and hanging out with her every day right before we lost her.”
Wright’s affection for Zeman was evident after her death when she posted a heartfelt Instagram tribute in which she said “I’m so grateful to have shared so many years with this beautiful woman.”
