General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) will open up to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Kristina will find out Blaze had an abusive boyfriend as well, it wasn’t just sexual harassment from Linc Brown (Dan Buran) she endured in the past.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Lot Of Life Lived In A Few Short Years
Neither Kristina nor Blaze is even thirty years old but yet both have lived a lot of life in a few short years. Both have been through abuse from boyfriends and Kristina even widowed from the mob guy, Trey Mitchell (Erik Valdez).
Well, sort of – the marriage was annulled when it was found it was under false pretenses, Trey not using his real name and certainly not conveying his true intentions.
Both have focused in on female friendship-and more-since having horrible experiences with men in their past. Kristina and Blaze get to know each other very well, learning about their individual pasts and how they each worked through crises, although Blaze frequently didn’t have supportive friends to help.
GH Spoilers: Blaze Has Heard About Dawn Of Day
Kristina doesn’t like talking about her time in the cult, Dawn of Day, but she briefly mentions it and her rescue from it by her sister and former brother-in-law. It turns out Blaze had been approached by a Dawn of Day recruiter but she could tell it wasn’t what it was promoted to be.
Kristina is so grateful she didn’t go for it and didn’t lose who she was to a dangerous cult; Kristina had to go through special counseling and had to be de-brainwashed.
Blaze can hardly believe that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was raised in that cult before she and Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) found each other.
Kristina says Willow was instrumental in getting her set free from the cult’s grip, she was able to convince her she was in trouble.
General Hospital Spoilers: Blaze And Kristina Corinthos-Davis Get Closer
The two new friends can’t help but get closer, especially in such a beautiful place-Kristina had stayed on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) island longer since Blaze surprised her by showing up.
They talk about what they’ve been through with boys and men and they’re both on the same page-it just seems safer to stick with the female sex. They don’t want to be vulnerable to the male sex again so they’ll stick with womanly friendships.
Both Kristina and Blaze are happy with how their friendship-relationship is developing. It’s good to have another person who understands you and what your life has done to you!
