General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Leaves Esme in Jail — and Then She Changes Her Mind
General Hospital Spoilers report Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is in lock-up for breaking into Wyndemere. That’s a minor offense compared to what she should be there for, and Ava Jerome (Maura West) knows it.
If she can bring any sense of justice to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), it’ll be via giving Esme a taste of her own medicine. But Trina isn’t likely to think it’s best for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) that Esme be punished too harshly — especially when she sees how much it weighs on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
Moreover, if Esme can’t care for Ace, it’ll be Spencer who will step up to the plate — and Trina doesn’t really want that. Will Ava go back on her word to help Trina hang onto the relationship she has with Spencer before he signs up to become Ace’s new daddy?
General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Asks for Ava’s Help
Trina will quickly come to realize that the longer Esme is tied up with legal issues, the more likely it will be that baby Ace will take up permanent residence at Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place with Spencer.
Suddenly, they’re going backward. The relationship she was enjoying with Spencer — where she got to make full use of his time with her — will slip out of sight. Instead, she’ll have serious concerns that she just might lose Spencer all over again if he becomes consumed with protecting Ace from his mother.
Will Trina call in a favor to Ava? While she may be appreciative that Ava wanted to stick it to Esme out of respect for Trina, she might need Esme off the hook so she can focus on Ace, leaving Spencer to focus on his relationship.
GH Spoilers Say Ava Recoils
Of course, Ava will do just about anything for Trina — her surrogate daughter. She may question her motives, but in the end, she’ll understand precisely where Trina is coming from.
Is it really best to prioritize her relationship with Spencer over justice for what Esme has done? Probably not, but Trina has to learn that lesson in her own time, and Ava knows that.
For the time being, she will likely oblige Trina’s request and let Esme off the hook. Of course, her decision could come a bit too late to make Spencer feel settled about leaving the country while Esme’s behavior is in flux.
General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Misinterprets His Ex-Wife’s Intentions
Obviously, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) wants Ava to play her cards right with Esme to help him seek revenge. In addition, he just might want access to his child.
While Ava holds out on helping him, her willingness to help Trina could be misconstrued as a favor to her ex. Certainly, letting Esme off the hook so that she can get better access to her would make Nikolas happy.
Will Ava avoid helping Trina just to twist the knife in Nikolas’ back though? Probably not. Let’s be honest; those two are headed for a reconciliation built on revenge. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out.
