General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Joins Ranks with Sonny and Spinelli — and Nina Grows Green with Envy
General Hospital Spoilers reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) is about to become Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right-hand girl, but neither of them knows it yet.
Sonny has recently looped Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) into the mix to help him figure out who is trying to take him out, but he’s going to need more than one ally. While Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is interested in being that person, Sonny doesn’t trust his son as far as he can throw him right now, and rightfully so.
On the flip side, he can trust his other son — Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) — but having a cop on his side won’t help much in this case. So as Ava continues to offer her support, Sonny just might ask her to go out on a ledge she’s not as comfortable with. When Ava gets wrapped up in the mob to protect Sonny, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) will have something to say about it.

Ava has made herself right at home in Sonny’s penthouse he once shared with his fairly new bride. Now that Nina has been exiled, there has been plenty of room for Sonny and Ava to share some close moments.
Sure, nothing illicit has gone down, but these former lovers are clearly building intimacy where there had previously been none.
Sonny has gone a long way in letting his guard down and opening up to Ava — someone he used to consider nothing but an enemy. Likewise, Ava values his trust and generosity; she doesn’t want to be his enemy ever again.
GH Spoilers Hint Nina Tires of Sitting on the Sidelines
Meanwhile, Nina will continue to feel the sting of knowing her best friend is spending every night and day with the man she loves.
There is no room to blame Ava, but she won’t be able to stop herself from feeling rather bitter about it all. If there is anything we know about Nina, it’s that she can’t stand not getting her way. Furthermore, she can’t stand feeling like her efforts have gone unnoticed, and that her pain is not recognized by the people who claim to love her.
As Sonny continues to ice her out, insisting Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) plight is more important than the pain Carly made Nina suffer through, she’ll watch as he once again prioritizes another woman over him.

As Nina continues to grow more resentful toward Ava, she just might table her revenge game against Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
They’ve been hard at work going back and forth pitching hits at each other and waiting to see who can withstand the harder blows.
But with Nina feeling like Ava is the last person in her corner next to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), watching her lean into Sonny’s world and out of her bestie’s is going to send chills down Nina’s spine. We all know she can’t stand to lose.
