General Hospital Spoilers: Are Michael And Tracy Both Headed To The Slammer This Week?
General Hospital spoilers say previews tease Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is going to make two arrests on Friday, and I suspect they’re coming in tandem.
Chase has been bent on clearing Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) name and ensuring she doesn’t go down for a crime he doesn’t believe she committed — even if she did.
He may hit paydirt just in time to send Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) packing and practically hand Willow’s kids back over to her on the spot.
But this could dampen his already-strained marriage to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who not only doesn’t want it to be true that Michael shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but certainly doesn’t want to see her granny hauled off in handcuffs for it either. It’s looking more and more like that is the eventual outcome here though.
Tracy is a Bundle of Nerves
Tracy is nervous about lying under oath to protect Michael, and rightfully so. If any evidence turns up that paints the version of events surrounding her showing up at Drew’s place that night as anything other than what she told the police, she’s going to have a problem.
Filing a false statement and interfering with an active attempted murder investigation aren’t minor charges.
Furthermore, if new evidence casting doubt on her statement comes to light after she has already perjured herself on the stand to keep Michael safe, all bets are off.
GH Spoilers Claim Michael Knows Better
What really stinks is that Tracy can’t put her finger on what it is about Michael’s demeanor, but she knows he’s not telling her the whole truth. It’s the tiny sliver of his story that he isn’t being honest about that could come back to bite them both.
Agreeing to lying under oath seemed fine in the light of day, but new evidence of their conversation about perjuring themselves could take this case in a completely new direction, leading the police to question how involved Tracy was in the actual shooting if she was willing to manufacture a narrative about who and what she saw to keep all targets away from her nephew.
What are the Other Options?
Of course, Michael and Tracy aren’t the only two suspicion possibilities in this situation — especially if the PCPD is going to start collecting more surveillance evidence from nearby businesses around Drew’s neighborhood.
More traffic cam footage could show that Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) henchman really did show up to finish Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) job — and that could pull Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) into the mix as her husband’s cell mate.
It’s also possible that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) will look guilty as sin on video.
Certainly, neither of these Quartermaines are likely to stay in jail, but stranger things have happened — especially since they would likely be viewed as flight risks with the financial means to disappear. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
