General Hospital Spoilers reveal Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) are closer than they think to learning more about the person who tried to kill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the Metro Court pool last year.
Firing two shots into a crowd of people on a sunny day, it was hard to gauge whether he was the intended target, or whether Anna was — as she had become the target of a pretty sinister game of war with the WSB.
But as John Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) clues lead them in circles, Anna and Jordan may start to come across clues that make little to no sense.
Could someone closer than ever be targeting Sonny from the inside of his own organization? Something tells us Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return home will be full of fireworks.
General Hospital Spoilers — A WSB Firearm
Now that Anna and Jordan know the WSB was linked to the shooting, they’re trying to make sense of what business the WSB has with Sonny in this manner.
John Brennan (Charles Mesure) has been little help — speaking in riddles and leading everyone on. Anna’s career in the WSB was decimated, leaving her few connections in the bureau who will still talk to her about the goings-on.
But the gun that turned up in Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) apartment further confirmed someone with WSB connections is after Sonny, and it rattled him enough to jump ship with Ava and head to his island.
GH Spoilers Hint The Island Isn’t Safe
The trip to the island was supposed to be a reprieve from the stress back home that left Ava feeling more secure. Instead, she and Sonny will be stunned as to how someone managed to invade the island and bypass all of the security measures he has in place there.
From the start, Sonny knew this person had to somehow know the ins and outs of his security team. It won’t be easy to narrow that down, but he’ll become sure that he has some kind of mole in his organization.

When Anna and Jordan manage to find evidence that links the shooting back to Jason, it’ll be nearly impossible for them to wrap their heads around. How could a dead man have been at the Metro Court pool?
How could the DNA evidence that comes into question link to a man who was gone long before any of this went down? Fans are starting to question whether the crime will actually be linked to Jason, or to someone who happens to share his DNA.
Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) is obviously out of the running, but Jake Spencer (Hudson West) may not be. He’s been keeping some pretty unsavory company with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Spears), after all.
