General Hospital spoilers tease Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has followed Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to Paris.
Their romantic rendezvous across the pond is about to be strongly interrupted. But Esme isn’t there to claim the man she thinks still belongs to her.
She’s not interested in reigniting anything with Spencer after the way he handed Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) over to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
Any lingering romantic feelings she had were killed upon learning how cold-hearted he really was about it. Rumors abound that Esme will find a way to coerce Spencer into leaving Trina alone and running off with him — but why? If she’s not in love with Spencer, why does she want him all to herself?

If Esme can’t be happy, no one can, right? Maybe she just wants to ensure Trina and Spencer are kept apart and miserable. Is that the least they can do to pay for all she believes they’ve made her endure?

We all know Nikolas Alexander Chavez is slated to exit the show temporarily this week. It would make sense that Esme might take him against his will – perhaps at gunpoint. But just who will she maintain keeping him hostage and away from Trina?
GH Spoilers Suggest Spencer Is Esme’s Bargaining Chip
Esme is playing her cards just right. She’s not going to take Spencer down as a means of revenge or having him all to herself. Rather, she knows he’s the most valuable person in Nikolas’ life next to Ace. Will she be able to coax Nikolas out of his hiding place with her baby boy if she threatens the life of his other baby boy? It’s a game of tit for tat and Esme is about to have the upper hand.

Esme and Nikolas are both fugitives on the run — her more so than he. But he’s far more worried about going to jail than she is, too. Neither want to be without their children, but we all know Nikolas would be more willing to give them up to maintain his own freedom than Esme is likely to.
