General Hospital Spoilers: Andrea Bogart Reminisces About First Day On GH – Suggests Abby Comes Back As A Twin
Former General Hospital star Andrea Bogart who played Abby Haver 2010 – 2011 will soon celebrate the anniversary of her debut on G.H. and took the time to reflect on her first day on the job. Andrea chose to celebrate on Instagram by posting a couple of photos from her first day working with Chad Duell who still plays Michael Corinthos.
GH Spoilers – Does Any Remember Abby Haver?
General Hospital’s head writer at the time, Bob Guza, wanted to write an older woman to help Michael deal with being raped in prison. Michael didn’t feel comfortable with girls his age and wanted Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to hire a prostitute for him. Jason’s girlfriend, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), overheard and suggested introducing him to her stripper friend, Abby, instead. Sam thought it was a one-time thing but the writers could not ignore the chemistry between Chad and Andrea. After the first day on the job, Guza asked if Andrea was ready to work because the writers were ready to go full speed ahead with Abby’s character.
The Casting Agent Remembered Andrea Bogart
Mark Teschner, GH casting agent remembered Andrea from other roles she had auditioned for. Guza thought that Andrea was great for the role of Abby and it certainly played out that way. Andrea says she immediately clicked with Chad and knew how she wanted to bring Abby to life. Fortunately, everyone else at GH saw the magic as well and were eager to write for the couple. Abby and Michael just clicked and they had a large fan following because of their love story. Mabby fans still miss this wonderful couple that fans feel should have stayed together.
General Hospital Updates – Fans Still Support Andrea Bogart
General Hospital’s Andrea thanks fans for their continued support after all these years. Abby was killed off the show in 2011 in a freak accident. Andrea is thrilled the fans still remember her time on GH and the romance with Michael. Andrea also comments on Michael’s love life and what an obvious mess it is in.
Of course, Mabby fans continue to tell Andrea how much they miss Abby and Michael’s romance. Andrea then suggests that maybe Abby has a long lost twin out there somewhere. This is something that fans have suggested as well. Maddy fans would eagerly accept a twin or even Abby back from the dead. One thing is clear to some fans, Abby has been the best pairing for Michael so far.
Would Andrea return to GH if asked? Could fans have a Mabby 2.0? Mabby fans are willing to accept either if they could have this pairing back in any form.
