Many fans were quick to echo Frank’s sentiments with one capturing the essence of all the positive well wishes: “Yess @lldubs is and amazing and wonderful and beautiful and strong and so talented person ever and I love love you so much I hope that this makes your day and having a wonderful and beautiful and amazing Wednesday you definitely deserve everything and more congratulations girl.”
Another shared, “She is a powerhouse and was excited when the news came out that she’ll be playing Caroline Benson/Spencer Corinthos! she is Carly and she and her #GH kids are my whole reason for tuning in every weekday! BIG FAN!!!! congrats on 15 Laura, here’s to many more.”
Not all of the comments were positive, however. Some fans wanted other stars’ anniversaries to be recognized and some chose to air their grievances over the rampant speculation that has been circulating for days that two fan-favorite GH actors are being let go.

Laura Wright is the latest actress to take on the iconic role of Carly Corinthos and she has done a bang- up job of making the character her own. Carly is the wife of town mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the daughter of the core character Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman).

As such she has had numerous meaty storylines over the years and won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2011 for her portrayal of the complicated blonde. Before she debuted as Carly in 2005 Laura played Ally Rescott on Loving and The City from 1991 to 1997 and Cassie Layne Winslow on Guiding Light from 1997 to 2005.
