General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Why Fans Have An Issue Accepting Nelle As Nina’s Daughter?
General Hospital (GH) Spoilers suggest that Nelle Jerome (Chloe Lanier) will remain Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) daughter. However, fans still have an issue with this after all this time. Why is it so hard for fans to accept that Nelle was Nina’s daughter?
General Hospital Spoilers – Fans Wanted Willow Tait
General Hospital’s Nina and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) have clashed from day one. This is a huge part of the reason that fans believed Willow was Nina’s daughter adopted by Harmony Miller (Inga Cadrenal). Also, every soap parentage reveal starts with a volatile relationship between the parent and child. Nina and Willow hated each other and fought constantly over Nina’s stepdaughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Fans assumed that Nina and Willow were mother and daughter and refuse to accept that they aren’t.
Nelle Is Presumed Dead
General Hospital’s Nelle is presumed dead and fans dislike this option. Fans have to wonder why the writers would give Nina a daughter that has already been killed off. Fans have to wonder what the point is in having Nina look for her child for seven years for nothing. It seems cruel to give Nina her daughter after she’s dead. Fans are not happy with this decision. Willow is alive and lives in Port Charles.
Willow would make Nina a good daughter and fans were looking forward to them developing a relationship. Nelle and Nina already had a love-hate relationship because Nina knew that Nelle couldn’t be trusted. After Nina testified against Nelle, it only makes her feel worse to learn that she helped her daughter lose custody of her child before she took off out of town and ended up dead. Nina and Nelle being mother and daughter just serves to hurt Nina more.
GH Spoilers – Kiki Jerome Was Another Favorite
General Hospital fans really wanted Kiki Jerome (ex-Hayley Erin) to be Nina’s daughter as well. After all, Ava Jerome (Maura West) raising her lover’s child would have been a good story. Unfortunately, the writers didn’t take that route either. Nina and Kiki got along well and would have been amazing as mother and daughter. Nina would have certainly treated Kiki better than Ava did as well. General Hospital writer missed two very good opportunities to give Nina a daughter just to turn around and give Nelle family in Port Charles.
Was making Nelle be Nina’s daughter a waste of time? Could this story have been written so much better with anyone but Nelle has Nina’s child? Will fans ever accept the fact that Nelle didn’t steal that necklace and she is Nina’s daughter? Will Nelle return to be reunited with her mother soon?

Please keep Nelle as Nina’s daughter! I love Nelle she brings excitement to the show!! So what if some hate her. Let Nelle come back different somewhat redeemed even, please! I think Nelle was so consumed with hate for Carly that it made her the way she was. Please bring Nelle back redeemed and misunderstood. Bring her back and make us begin to feel sorry for Nelle even. If this happens she could be accepted.
Never have felt that either was the daughter nor was Kiki. Have always hoped that the daughter would find Nelle instead of Nina finding someone she searched for. Who ever the daughter is determined to be factually, not by suspicion on hints thrown out by actors and/or writers, a DNA test needs to be performed far away from PC and with FBI guards to ensure that the lab work is not tampered with in any way, fashion or form. When the daughter is officially announced, allow her to be the real deal and not have viewers to suffer through another who is Nina’s daughter story line that will continue for another two – three years.
Never believe where the writers are taking you.
Don’t forget who Nelle’s father was. Yes Nelle may have had that necklace as a child- but who gave it to her?
Who was “the couple” that the baby was given to? Nelle’s dad was out for money any way he could get it- and taking that necklace from the real baby and giving it to Nelle- would be a way to guarantee that in the future , one day- he could blackmail the parents for money. Never mind Nelle really wasn’t theirs.
Also, we never did learn Harmony’s secret to Shiloh or Willow’s.
Was Harmony’s secret that Willow was adopted? Were they the ones Nelle’s dad gave the child to – without the necklace?
They are just setting Nina up to be hurt again when the truth comes out that once again, like Sasha, Nelle isn’t her daughter.
I think you all are making a huge mistake making Nelle Nina’s Daughter, nelle is a bad evil person just leave her gone so Michael doesn’t have to worry about his son. Willow or Sasha should be the one who turns out to be Nina’s Real Daughter.
I like Nell, We all have to remember Nina acted just like Nell. Nina kidnaped Avery and held Ava hostage. She was a perfect Kooky that married kooky Franco. Which I liked them as a couple. Franco is a funny guy. with funny actress. (not Liz) I believe they will bring Nell back.
