General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: The Race To Save Drew Cain Is On!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the race to save Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is on as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) break into Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall And Dante Falconeri Defy Orders And Break Into The Cassadine Compound

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sam and Dante initially go to Greece looking for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but it comes to their attention that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may be there as well. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) warned them not to try to apprehend Victor Cassadine on their own, but they are determined to find Drew, and hopefully Liesl as well. Sam and Dante manage to break into the Cassadine compound and encounter Victor.

They apprehend him and demand answers as to Drew’s fate. Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Sam also has Cassadine blood, her mother being Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Victor would be Sam’s great-uncle since he is Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) remaining living brother. It is an interesting situation, notes Dante’s portrayer, Dominic Zamprogna in an article in Soap Opera Digest. Dante is starting to become involved romantically with Sam and here he is helping her find her ex-husband and the father of her child. It could spell trouble for their budding relationship although Sam assured Dante that she had moved on from Drew long ago.

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri And Sam McCall Question Victor Cassadine

General Hospital viewers will recall that during the time Sam was married to Drew, most of the time she thought he was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) – and so did Drew and everyone else until Jason escaped from the Boronsky Clinic with the help of Ava Jerome, now Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and came back to Port Charles. Dante considers that the most important thing is uniting father and daughter, and he knows it’s the right thing to do.

Dominic noted also in the interview with Soap Opera Digest that the storyline is reminiscent of General Hospital adventures in the past, and reminded him of the storyline of the Balkan and his lair! Once Sam and Dante have their hands on Victor and he’s in custody, the questioning begins. It turns out that Victor has some very interesting, although frightening, information to share with them. Victor tells them that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has kidnapped Drew and they’re in the wind!

General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Says Drew Cain’s Programming Is Activated

General Hospital viewers will recall from recent episodes of General Hospital, that Peter played Victor by lying that he didn’t have the key to Drew’s programming. Victor tells Sam and Dante that Peter has activated Drew’s programming – programming that everyone assumed was gone when the brain chip was removed by Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) years ago. However, Peter’s using Drew as a programmed “toy soldier” as Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) used to call him, does make him more valuable to Peter alive than he does dead.

General Hospital viewers know that Dante, of course is very familiar with being brainwashed and programmed – although Dominic jokes that Drew might not be a member of the pen click club! What this intel does tell Sam and Dante is that finding Drew is more important than ever, and there is no time to wait on Robert and Anna to do it!

GH Spoilers – Sam McCall And Dante Falconeri Compel Victor Cassadine To Give Them The Grand Tour

Sam and Dante keep Victor hostage and force him to take them to Drew’s old cell, where Sam is encouraged to see where Drew had scratched Scout Cain’s (Ella Ramacieri) name into the wall. General Hospital viewers know that shows that Drew didn’t have his Port Charles memories erased. However, when they do make it back to the tavern in Panapolis they get some bad news from Anna and Robert.

There apparently was a shootout at the Cassadine compound and there are concerns that Drew didn’t survive. At that moment things get even more tense with the arrival of Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)! General Hospital viewers will recall that they go to Greece to look for Liesl. It is awkward for Dante standing there with Jason’s ex-wife in front of Jason, although certainly he was aware Jason had moved on from Sam! He hopes Jason can help find Drew while he and Britt are looking for Liesl!
