General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that rising star Sydney Mikayla plays teen Trina Robinson on the ABC sudser. She debuted in 2019 and since then her character has been through some meaty storylines and it looks there are even more on the horizon.

Trina is the daughter of Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews). How does Sydney feel about sharing scenes with two daytime veterans? She said of her onscreen mom, “Brook is so talented and we’ve really connected — we both have a love of dance. Her maternal energy is great. I think that Trina had been the ‘best friend character.’”
But Sydney notes that, “Now, it’s great that she has someone whom she can turn to, too. She’s had Ava [Maura West] to talk to, but that’s still a work relationship. Trina idolized her father and his lying about having been killed caused a shift in their relationship. Now, Trina trusts her mom even more.”
Uh oh. Should we mention that many fans believe that Curtis Ashford is really Trina’s biological dad? If this is the case and Portia has kept the truth from Trina, what could she do next to lash out?

According to her, “They are all buddies [right] now. Joss is concerned about Sonny (Corinthos, Maurice Benard). Trina’s worried her dad. We all have our own things going on. We’re there for each other right now. We’re busy with school – and our parents!”

Sydney mentioned that she loves dance and the topic of Dancing With the Stars came up. She said, “Ingo [Rademacher, Jax] and I just talked about that … I’d love to be on that show. I know it’d be a challenge, but, especially after hearing Ingo talk about it, I’m ready for it!”
