General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Phyllis & Lenny Relocate to Port Charles After Sonny Gets Memory Back?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) won’t be getting his memory back as soon as many viewers would prefer. Although many viewers prefer Sonny to be the lovable mobster that they know and love. But for the last several months, Sonny has suffered from amnesia and believes himself to be a man known only as “Mike”.

Mike is very different than Sonny in many ways, while Sonny is mostly intense, “Mike” is more laid back. Mike is happy to be working for Lenny and Phyllis Caulfield (Rif Hutton and Joyce Guy) at their bar the Tan-O in Nixon Falls. Mike spends his time trying to repay the kindness Lenny and Phyllis have given to him by working behind the bar and flirting with Phyllis’ old friend Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves knows exactly who “Mike” really is, but hasn’t up until now said anything.

When Nina arrived in Nixon Falls, she was shocked to see “Mike” there. Knowing that Mike is really mobster Sonny Corinthos, Nina has asked Mike on more than one occasion if he wanted to know who he was before the memory loss. But Mike is happy with his simple life in Nixon Falls, and Nina tried to let Sonny’s wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), know that her husband is alive, but Carly was so nasty to Nina on the phone that Nina changed her mind and seems content to let Sonny continue with the life he’s made for himself in Nixon Falls.

This will all most backfire in the worst possible way for Nina because even though it won’t likely be in the near future, Sonny will remember who he was. And of course he will remember Nina and the fact that she willingly kept him from his family. At that point, Sonny and Nina will both leave Nixon Falls.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Elijah Crowe’s mysterious plan for Nixon Falls and the Tan-O leave Lenny and Phyllis Caulfield without their business?

As viewers know, Elijah Crowe (Dan White) seems to have nefarious intentions toward Nixon Falls in general and Tan-O in particular. After a thief robbed and vandalized the Tan-O, Lenny and Phyllis were unsure if they would even be able to reopen due to the added costs of repairs. Elijah, who had once been taken in by the couple the same way they have taken in “Mike”. Elijah offered to buy the Tan-O from the couple, but promised they could still run the day to day operations.

But “Mike” didn’t trust Elijah from the moment they met, so “Mike” pawned his rings which allowed him enough money to win big at a poker game. He not only gave Lenny and Phyllis enough cash to reopen the Tan-O but he also paid his rent up for the next six months. Sonny knew that Elijah most like just wanted the land the Tan-O sits on and despite what he told them, the Tan-O would most likely be torn day, leaving Lenny and Phyllis with nothing. There has been a rash of criminal activity in Nixon Falls, and this has been most likely organized by Elijah to make property values go way down. Whatever the plan is for Nixon Falls, most of the small businesses that make up the backbone of the town won’t be a part of it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Elijah Crowe finally get what he wants?

Despite “Mike’s” best efforts, Lenny and Phyllis trust Elijah. And that may cost them their livelihood in Nixon Falls. So even as Sonny and Nina will eventually return to Port Charles, look for one or both of them to offer them a chance to start over in Nixon Falls. Although they will be happy for “Mike” once his memory returns, it’s unlikely they would want to maintain a friendship with him once they find out he’s a well known mobster.

That’s exactly the sort of thing that Lenny was worried about when “Mike” first showed up. But maybe Sonny can win them over. Or even more likely, Nina may ask her good friend Ava Jerome (Maura West) if Lenny and Phyllis can run Charlie’s for her since she hasn’t really known what to do with the bar when her brother Julian Jerome (William DeVry) left it to her in his will when he died. Maybe they can even make monthly payments to Ava and she will eventually sell it to them?
