General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been on cloud nine and soaking up every minute of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) undivided attention recently.
But their lifestyle is about to veer off course from wedding plans and bliss to potential funeral plans and a near miss. People are already turning up dead around Ava Jerome (Maura West), and now it appears that they’re going to start doing the same around Sonny.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) knows Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Sonny don’t fit the crime this time around, but something won’t sit right with him that his father met Gordon Stevens (Maurice Benard) just hours before Dex found him dead.
Without any way to link his death to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), Sonny could find himself in a bit of a pickle — and Nina is going to notice.
As she makes note of Sonny’s frequent meetings with Ava — something neither of them will discuss with her — it’s not going to leave her with very warm feet for trotting down the aisle.

It’s not abnormal for Sonny to put distance between himself and the object of his affection when he knows he could come under fire.
But this time around when he suggests that he and Nina give their union some breathing room, she’s not going to know what to make of it. After all, they live together now.

General Hospital Updates – Ava Jerome Knows More Than She’s Letting On
It won’t take long for Nina to recognize the rattled nerves and shifty eye contact in her bestie before she will be clamoring at Ava to spill her guts.
Will AbA reveal all to Nina and tell her why she’s grown so close to Sonny as of late? It’s not likely. Besides, the mob boss will likely insist Nina be kept out of it for her own safety.
Ava isn’t in any position to go against him now, and she doesn’t want to jeopardize Nina either, even if it means letting her think the worst — that something else entirely might be going on with Sonny and his ex.
Nina’s Ultimatum
Nina will be convinced she is onto something when she catches Sonny meeting up with Ava when he was supposed to be elsewhere.
Will she turn to Austin in hopes of revealing what she thinks is the truth to him? She may not be likely to turn on Ava when her gal pal knows what she did to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), but Nina can’t just take this lying down, can she?
If Nina is going to be Sonny’s wife, she has to learn there will be some things about his life and business she will not be privy to and accept it. Of course she would get the idea that Sonny/Ava are getting close once again and she will be left behind – there goes her insecurity once again. Nina does not know the real Sonny and what it takes to be his significant other. For the most part, Sonny never included Carly as far as his business was concerned. Nina is suspicious as she would probably enter into a relationship with Sonny if the shoe were on the other foot as people usually see themselves in others.
I will be so glad when Sonny finds out what Nina has done to Carly. I don’t like Nina with Sonny, there is no chemistry between them. He needs to be with Carly!
