General Hospital (GH) Spoilers suggest that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will approach former detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about rejoining the Port Charles Police Department. Is Dante ready to return to work?
Dante Falconeri Was A Good Dectective
Before General Hospital’s Dante went to work with the WSB he was a good detective. Dante had been a part of the PCPD since moving to Port Charles years ago. Dante came to town to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Dante was shocked to learn that Sonny was his father. Sonny almost killed Dante when he tried to arrest him for a murder Sonny didn’t commit. Afterward, Dante tried to take down Franco Baldwin (ex-Roger Howarth) who had previously tied to kill Lulu Spencer (ex-Emme Rylan). Dante proved himself to be a huge asset to the PCPD. However, Dante has changed tremendously since he first came to town. Dante has been away from the PCPD for years and may not be ready to jump back into law enforcement.
Dante Falconeri Was Brainwashed
General Hospital’s Dante was brainwashed by Raj Patel (Noshir Dalal) while working for the WSB. Dante went after Raj because he attacked Lulu and almost killed her. Dante was beaten and abused while held by Raj and only got away because Sonny went in after him. Thanks to Sonny and Dev Cerci (ex- Ashton Arbab) Dante was rescued and returned home. However, Dante had been programmed to kill his wife. After being gone for months, Dante had to walk out on his family to protect them. Dante went to the WSB for help to get past this programming so that his family would be safe. Unfortunately, Dante was reprogrammed instead of deprogrammed.
Dante Falconeri’s Programming Was Erased
General Hospital’s Dante was programmed at the WSB to take down Peter no matter what. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) took over Dante’s programming after his WSB doctor was killed. Now Dante has supposedly been deprogrammed but is he ready to go back to the PCPD full time? Dante has more stress on him now than he did working with the WSB. Dante is now a single parent since his ex-wife is in a coma. Dante has recently almost been killed by Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Could Dante handle the added stress of being a cop at this time?
Mac may need Dante because he has recently lost Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) until someone can save him from his recent poisoning. However, cant Dante keep his head enough to go back into law enforcement?
