General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that show star Kelly Monaco, who plays PI Sam McCall has shared some wonderful news with her fans.
The news is about her time on the ABC sudser and she indicated that she was thrilled to have hit such a major milestone. At the same time she made it a point to thank the fans who have been with her every step of the way.

So, just what is the terrific news that Monaco had to share? She tweeted that she has appeared on 2,000 episodes of the show! Of course her fans were ecstatic to know that she could celebrate such a significant anniversary.
Monaco received tons of compliments and well wishes and in turn she made sure to send her thanks out to her fans. Many fans also took the time to share their favorite memories of fan fave Sam McCall.

The lovely and talented actress wrote, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I am speechless… all the hard work each and everyone of you has put in to my 2000th anniversary episodes.”
“It took me almost 2 days to read and boy did it take me down memory lane. What a beautiful journey.”
Believe it or not the actress later ‘fessed up to making a mistake in her counting! Instead of filming 2,000 episodes she has put in more time that she originally believed.
Monaco wrote, “I was just informed that it’s closer to almost 3000 shows! Holy fing s*it! Wooooooooooow.”

One of the fans told Monaco that she and another fan have been keeping detailed episode count records and that they have data that going back to 2000. According to the fan, as of December 2020, the actress had appeared in 2,664 episodes.
Monaco debuted in the role in 2002. She previously appeared as Alicia Montenegro and she played two characters on the show’s spinoff, Port Charles. In that show she was Livvie Locke and Tess Ramsay.
