General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Is Michael Trying To Frame Sonny For Murder?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) might be trying to frame Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for murder. He could be ordering his plant, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to go after people linked only by their relationships to Sonny, or possibly a different hit man.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos “On The Hook”
Michael might be intentionally having Dex target those close to Sonny but not quite finish them off so that Sonny will “be on the hook” for attempted murder. Ava Cassadine (Maura West) is Avery Jerome-Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) mother, and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is a cousin. The murder weapon, or attempted murder weapon, is the same in both cases; the attacker came from behind in Ava’s case and came from the front in Brando’s.
The weapon in both cases was a gaffing hook, a hook used in ocean fishing like the one Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) went after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with. The first time, with Ava, it appeared to be a weapon of opportunity; the second time, intentionally used and kept from Ava’s attack.
General Hospital Spoilers – Why A Hook, Not A Gun?
But why a gaffing hook, not a gun, one might ask? Probably because guns leave bullets and powder residue and forensic trace evidence, not to mention blood spatter on the shooter and they make noise. The hook can do great damage coming from behind, as well as from the front, and the attacker doesn’t have to get as close as with a knife. Ava was left with serious internal injuries and had nearly bled out, and if Dex is the hit man, he probably helped save Ava to draw attention away from himself. Plus, Ava didn’t see him, the attacker came from behind and she didn’t even have time to turn around to look.
More Attacks To Come
There will be more attacks to come, because another gruesome discovery will be made in the weeks to come, and perhaps it will be someone else connected to Sonny. It could be one of Sonny’s henchmen who is sneaked up on unawares by the hook attacker like Ava was and attacked from the back. It’s not quite Halloween yet but the attacks could definitely become more Halloween-ish in the next few weeks, although the hook attacker is definitely not Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Ryan would never be that sloppy and even with one hand, he was able to tie two people up to two chairs and kill another. Port Charles will not be safe for who knows how long?

I agree, I can’t believe they have let this story line go on this long. I used to like Michael, but can barely stand to watch when he is on . Is Dex killing people to blame on Sonny?

I seriously doubt Michael will try to frame Sonny for murder. That’s an overreach by the writer of this article. That’s something someone like Nina or Nicholas would do. They have no conscience. Michael is lashing out because of all the pain caused by his father’s betrayal of the family and his wife and marriage.
Sonny is the one who chose to side with a psycho against his entire family!!
I do not think that Dex is killing people for Michael. Yes, Michael is a jerk, and I cannot stand him either, right now anyway. They just need to get passed this storyline.
What a dumb storyline, Michael is not that sinister. If you remember Joss left just after Dex, the hooker started to go for Joss but Brandon was closer so Brandon was a victim of opportunity.
