General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer’s Exit, Cameron’s Return-Trina Dumps Spencer For Cameron?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may be off screen for a while due to the filming of Nicholas’ movie.
He’ll be playing one of the Menendez brothers in Netflix’s Monster anthology series, and now that all strikes are over they can start filming.
General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine’s Absence Explained
Of course, there is a possibility that Spencer won’t be absent much at all, if Nicholas filmed a lot of scenes prior to his leave of absence to start filming.
However, there is a possibility of a temporary recast or Spencer being written out for a time, since plans can always change-there wasn’t a planned recast or write-out at first.
However, if Spencer is written out during this time, it won’t leave Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) with much of a story.
One thing that would solve Trina’s lack of story is for Cameron Webber (William Lipton) to come back to Port Charles at least for the Christmas holidays.
In the episode of November 17, she spoke to Curtis and Marshall Ashford (Donnell Turner, Robert Gossett) about how close she and Cam became after Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt) died.
GH Spoilers: Trina Robinson Seems To Have Forgotten Rory Cabrera
Trina seems to have forgotten all about Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) who she dated while Spencer was in Spring Ridge, Rory became a victim of The Hook.
So, it would seem she got a lot closer to Cameron than she ever did to Rory, although she said it was nothing like her feelings for Spencer.
Cameron and Trina never really got to the romance part, but they bonded through some pretty intense situations-being kidnapped by Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) henchman, for one.
That was the time they were going to a prom date together, with Curtis and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saving them in a dramatic rescue, along with Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).
General Hospital Spoilers: Here’s What Could Happen
It’s possible even though Nicholas may stay with the show to finish out his contract as Spencer, the talented young actor could move on to greener pastures.
Bringing Cameron back to Port Charles and having him and Trina bond anew after he possibly goes through a bad breakup at college with the girlfriend mentioned could be a possibility.
However, before he left for college he accepted Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) due to her being Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) half-sister.
Even if Spencer leaves and Cameron returns, that would still be problematic drama for Trina if Cameron still supports Esme! As for ‘Sprina’ continuing if Spencer’s off the canvas, that’s problematic.
