General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have to explain some things to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in an upcoming GH episode!

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Keeps Bragging About Her Investment Purchase

Drew observes Carly continuing to brag about her investment purchase like she thinks she’s a big city power broker but she’s coming across as a trailer park stock speculator. That’s not a good look for anyone, let alone an already successful businesswoman with no experience in stocks, she bought in to help him and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)! Sure, she bought massive amounts of Aurora Media stock that made the company skyrocket, but it was against his advice; she put all her eggs in one basket.

Carly’s running two businesses and doing it with aplomb; she’s running The Metro Court along with her business partner Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) which includes a hotel, restaurant, and office suites. She also took over her cousin Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) business, The Haunted Star when she went into an indeterminate coma; but she’s not the wizard of Wall Street!

General Hospital Updates – Carly Corinthos Thinks She Learned A Thing Or Two While Married To Jasper Jacks

Carly thinks she learned a thing or two about stocks and corporate raiding while married to Jasper Jacks, (Ingo Rademacher) and Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) father! Even Michael thinks she’s tooting her stock buying horn a little too much, especially when the merger was barely in place – she was bragging in The Metro Court. Being Jax’s ex-wife doesn’t make her qualified to know what’s appropriate to talk about where stocks, bonds, and the corporate world is concerned, but someone needs to educate her. It would be awkward for Michael to give his mom a dressing down so it falls to Drew, a little bit more her equal age-wise. Drew finds himself taking his late twin Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) role with Carly again, but someone has to do it!

Drew sits Carly down and explains some business protocol to her about stocks and buying them-if she were a poker player, she wouldn’t want to show her hand. Basically what she’s been doing with bragging about saving the day with her stock purchase is like showing her hand in a poker game! Bragging about sensitive company situations could make them a sitting duck, and exposed to any corporate enemy who wanted to try a corporate takeover!

Carly would have never experienced that side of it since Jax was the corporate raider when she was married to him, not the corporate loser! Drew tries his best to be diplomatic, but when it comes right down to it, Carly needs to shut her piehole!

It Takes A Heck Of A Man To Put Carly Corinthos In Her Place!

It takes one heck of a man to put Carly in her place, and up until now, Jason has been the only one to ever be able to do it! Drew finds himself continuing to remind her that he’s not Jason and he’s not her substitute Jason but he reminds her said about losing her temper. She can use the same countdown to herself before she blurts out anything else as well as use it to keep herself in control. Drew tells her it’s also like using a gun in battle sometimes – it’s ready, aim, fire, not fire off her mouth before she aims and checks if it’s the right time!
