General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Dex Goes Rogue As Michael Tries To Wash His Hands Of Him
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) thought he knew what he was getting himself into when he decided to seek revenge on the only father he’s ever really known — Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But as other facets of his destruction come to light, Michael is going to start to realize this isn’t worth the cost it will impose. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) doesn’t want Michael at odds with his father, and she doesn’t want him expending all of his energy on a revenge scheme. He needs to focus on her and beating cancer. Furthermore, when Michael realizes Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and his siblings would all be vulnerable and at risk of attack should Sonny’s criminal empire that serves to protect them crumble to the ground, he second-guesses himself and thinks it’s wise to stop everything in its tracks.
General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Calls Off His Revenge Plan
Michael has tried to tell Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) twice before that he wanted to sever all ties and cut his losses, but Dex wouldn’t hear of it. He felt they were too close to taking Sonny down to back out in the eleventh hour. When he tries that script again, Michael is going to remind him that’s what he said the last two times and yet here they are with nothing to show for it. When he says he’s changed his mind entirely, and that it’s not about the risk to anyone or time, but he just doesn’t want revenge anymore, Dex isn’t going to take kindly to his request.
General Hosptial Updates – Dex Heller Doesn’t Take No For An Answer
Dex seems to have his own agenda, and that’s going to come to light as Michael attempts to shut him down. Now that Sonny’s newest enforcer has found his way into the inner circle of the crime boss’ empire, he’s not interested in giving it up. Is this about power and becoming the next Port Chuck mobster, or something else? To Michael, it will feel personal, but makes little sense because he found Dex — right?
Why Is Dex Heller Bent On Destroying Sonny Corinthos?
It is a conundrum for Dex when Michael wants him to pack up and leave town because Dex is now falling for Michael’s little sister he was ordered to stay away from. He’s not skipping out on Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) while those sparks are continuing to fly back and forth between them. Still, most of Dex’s motivation is clearly rooted in wanting to destroy Sonny. If Michael no longer wants to, why would Dex? It will stun everyone in Port Chuck when they realize Dex has come to town not to seek revenge on Michael’s father but to avenge his own — Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) — whose death he blames on Sonny.
