General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Curtis’ Reaction To Portia’s Paternity Secret Will Terrify His Father
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) reaction to Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) secret is going to add a layer of complexity to this storyline that few saw coming. For months, Curtis and Portia have wondered why Curtis’ father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), refused to get genetic testing done to confirm whether or not he was suffering from Schizophrenia. When he did finally make the choice to do it, he told no one until after the fact. Curtis hasn’t grown suspicious of that choice yet, but he’s about to — and rightfully so because rumor has it Marshall isn’t even Curtis’ father! At the same time, Marshall is going to grow quite concerned about the state of Curtis’ marriage and what it could mean for his relationship with his son.
General Hospital Spoilers — Portia Robinson Lied. That’s All.
Processing all of this is going to take its toll on Curtis, let alone his new — and floundering — marriage to Portia. Within just a few moments, Curtis went from celebrating the start of his life with Portia, to possibly planning for the demise of it. How did everything go so south, so fast? The answer to that would be — more lies. Portia knows how much Curtis hates secrets, and that they spelled the death of his first marriage. Still, she thought it was worth it to gamble with everyone’s future and marry him anyway. He will look back and realize she may have wanted to tell him during their vows, but it’s too little, too late.
General Hospital Updates – Curtis Ashford Is Grateful For His Father
Fortunately, Curtis’ father seems to have come back into his life at just the right time. He’s going to need a shoulder to cry on, and he’s not sure how he feels about his aunt, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), right now. How is it she managed to know about this secret before he did, and why didn’t she tell him? However, when Curtis does take the time to vent to his pops about what Portia has done, he will be surprised to hear Marshall giving Portia the benefit of the doubt and encouraging Curtis not to give up on her just yet. Who’s side is Marshall really on here?
But Marshall Is Lying, too
Marshall may seem like he’s all for forgiveness and not holding a grudge, but in reality, he’s lying to Curtis, too. His guilty conscience is going to get the best of him and he might feel inclined to stand up for the underdog — ahem, the liar — because he can relate to Portia in this case. If Curtis is this upset about finding out he may be Trina’s father, how will he react if he ever finds out Marshall may not be his? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
