General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis And Portia’s Bad News, Stella Backs Out Of Officiating?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will get some bad news. Might Curtis’ aunt Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) back out of officiating their wedding?
General Hospital Spoilers: Secret Exposed?
When Stella and Portia went to pick up Portia’s wedding dress, Portia surprised Stella with a dress of her own and a family heirloom bracelet she wanted her to wear. Stella was uncomfortable, having figured out after a conversation with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that Curtis, not Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) might be Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) father. This was after Stella became suspicious; having talked first to Trina about some genealogy sites they visited back when Trina was in high school.
Trina had found out she had a close relative in Port Charles but didn’t want to investigate further, deleting her account; Stella also found a near relative in Port Charles. Stella also found a cousin in England but her suspicions were raised when she found out Jordan talked to Trina about her genealogy test.
GH Spoilers: The Timeline Had Worked Out
The timeline had worked out, that Trina would have been conceived when Curtis had dated Portia previously; he broke it off when he found out she was married. But when Curtis and Portia reconnected, and he found out about teenage Trina, that was the first thing he asked – she swore Trina was Marcus’ and not his.
Stella knows that Curtis divorced Jordan because of her keeping secrets, and they weren’t even personal secrets, they were police secrets, so what if Portia lied about Trina? Stella is torn and having issues with her conscience already about officiating the ceremony if Trina’s his and Portia knowingly lied about it, even if it was to protect Trina. Stella feels like she would be contributing to a lie if she officiates the ceremony – she’d discussed this with Jordan, who didn’t confirm, didn’t deny her suspicions.
General Hospital Spoilers: Stella Henry Backs Out
Stella finally backs out of officiating the ceremony, or even attending it, mentioning not feeling well which prompts Curtis to want to delay the wedding. Stella tells them not to do that, everything has already been set up but she’s sure they can find someone else to do the officiating duties. She’d given a gift at the bridal shower already, which is where she had found out about Trina’s genealogy test.
Stella knows that Curtis needs to know the truth, or at least get a paternity test done to confirm whether he is Trina’s father or Marcus is. But it turns out when Jordan finds out that Stella backed out of officiating the ceremony she’s the one who has a frank talk with Marcus!
