Fans of General Hospital’s Nina are very upset over the fact that Nina’s daughter ended up dead before her identity was revealed. Fans have been disappointed a few times by the writers when it comes to Nina’s child. Fans first expected Kiki Jerome (ex-Haley Erin) was given to Ava Cassadine (Maura West) by Madelene Reeves (Donna Mills).

After Kiki was killed, fans’ hopes were crushed. Next after the start of a volatile relationship, fans were convinced that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) would be Nina’s daughter. After all, don’t all soap opera mother and daughter relationships begin that way after a separation? Surely Nina had found her daughter and would regret the way she had treated her. Then again, the writers chose to change directions. So why on earth stick Nina with Nelle?

Drama Is The Name Of The Game

Unfortunately for Nina fans who wanted to see her bond with her daughter, the writers chose Nelle for the drama. Nelle may be dead but there is still the secret between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about her fall from the cliff. There is the fact that Jax nor Carly called the cops about Nelle’s fall.

There is Nina’s grandson who she will want access to. There is Willow’s plan to adopt Wiley Corinthos (Theo and Erik Olson) that she could stop. Nina could even try to sue for custody of Wiley although it is doubtful that she would succeed in her efforts. But drama is the name of the game and Nelle was created for this very purpose.

General Hospital Updates – Perhaps Nelle Jerome Is Not So Dead

General Hospital writers are no strangers to bringing people back from the dead. Half the cast has been dead at one time or another while on the show. Nelle could certainly resurface as well. Look at Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), his brother was identified as him after showing up in Port Charles only to have Jason return three years later to fight over their identities. The writers could certainly come up with a way to bring Nelle back from the dead. We don’t need another twin story but it’s not out of the realm of possibilities. Will Nelle return or does she cause more drama dead?

General Hospital writers have never been afraid of using the shock value to get fan’s attention. What new drama will Nelle cause whether she’s dead or alive?
