General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will get the wrong idea about his future with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital. But tenderhearted Willow won’t have the heart to tell him the truth, even though she knows she needs to!

General Hospital Spoilers – Harrison Chase May Be Delusional Yet Again

General Hospital viewers know that Chase spikes fevers and becomes delusional very quickly when his antidote runs out, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has had Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) taking care of the “Peter problem”. Valentin has been trying to keep an eye on Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) as well, and Chase may need more antidote before Anna returns, so it would be up to Valentin to get the antidote from Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

General Hospital viewers will also remember that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow had agreed to keep their reconciliation a secret for Chase’s sake, thinking that he would recover and then they could break the news to him when he is stronger. The only problem with that is he’s not recovering quickly and he’s not getting stronger and now they have to take into account that he could die. Willow knows that her presence at his side in General Hospital gives him a will to live, so she is in a tough spot.

Even when Chase is not feverish and delusional, he has no idea that Willow is reconciled with Michael, and they have put their marital relationship on hold because of Chase’s illness. By now, Willow and Michael likely know that Chase has been poisoned, and that the delay in his recovery has been that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has been trying to synthesize the antidote so that they do not have to be under Peter’s thumb! And now, Willow must decide how to handle Chase’s mistaken idea that the two of them are engaged and have set a wedding date!

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait Is Torn

General Hospital viewers know that Michael knows that Willow has been letting Chase think what he’s going to think and he agreed, but they also know that they cannot allow even a lie for a good reason go on forever! Willow is torn, because of Chase’s precarious position – she doesn’t want to give him false hope but yet it seems that his having the wrong idea is what is giving him his will to live!

This is a tough call. Willow debates whether she should have ever let him get the wrong idea about the two of them to begin with – but there wasn’t time to tell him before he collapsed! That is exactly why she had gone over to his apartment that day. She had intended to tell Chase that she had decided between him and Michael and although she cares for Chase immensely, she has fallen for Michael and the two of them decided to make a go of their marriage turned annulment but still married in relationship!

Michael understands the dilemma – he is worried about Chase too and knows that someone as seriously ill as Chase is needs a reason to live. But, like Willow, he worries about the false hopes that Chase is building up inside himself that he and Willow will get married when he gets out of the hospital. Willow doesn’t have the heart to tell Chase the truth, other than telling him that a wedding would not be possible until he is cured and well!
