General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will try reasoning with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) as he continues his threats in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is Making More And More Demands
General Hospital viewers will recall that Cyrus has been making more and more demands, not only on Brando, but in general. Cyrus did not take it well when Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) beat him out of influencing the Five Families to let him run the show, and they wouldn’t help him take over Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) territory. They had too much respect for Sonny, and they all know that Cyrus is no legitimate business man – Sonny never would allow drugs to run through his territory, and Cyrus’ reputation as a drug lord has preceded him.
General Hospital viewers will recall also that none of the people he tasked with eliminating Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) completed the task, and he’s not real happy with that either! Now Cyrus is doubling down on his threats, not only to expose Brando to the justice department about his providing an illegal alien, Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) an identity as his son (even though Brando didn’t have anything to do with it) Cyrus is also making threats against Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) who Brando now knows is carrying his child! Brando did not sign on as a hit man or an enforcer for Cyrus, and as far as Cyrus knows, his connection to Sonny and Jason died when Sonny presumably died! Brando has no clue where Jason took off to but yet Cyrus thinks he does!
General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is Feeling A Loss Of Control And Is Taking It Out On Brando Corbin
General Hospital viewers will also recall that Cyrus has lost control in another area that he once controlled – Pentonville Prison! Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) bought the prison and changes are being made that Cyrus doesn’t like. His minions within are now all in solitary if they don’t behave, and Nikolas certainly isn’t acting like a nephew as far as Cyrus is concerned, and neither is his mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis)! Nikolas did get Cyrus’ mother back, but General Hospital viewers know that Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) is never going to give Cyrus the mother’s love or approval that he craves, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is the favored son!
Cyrus is complaining about all of these issues and seems to be taking it out on Brando, and Brando decides to play friendly bartender and get him to open up to him. Brando can see where all of Cyrus’ perceived failures of others are being blame shifted by Cyrus from himself. Brando tries to reason with Cyrus, telling him that no matter what he does or threatens or pays someone, what they do with it is ultimately up to them and under their control and not his and is not his failure.
Cyrus brings up again Brando’s failure to kill Jason Morgan and also brings up when Brando saved Sasha’s life and if he had done what he told him to do, Sasha would not be the problem she is now. Brando starts to lose his cool but manages not to, but is very tempted to go to the police with some of Cyrus’ secrets he knows. Threatening him is bad enough but when Cyrus continues to threaten Sasha is almost more than Brando can take!
