His grandfather Jeff Webber (Richard Dean Anderson) was a successful doctor at General Hospital before he left Port Charles. Cameron admired his stepfather Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) when he became an art therapist. Cameron could decide to go into medicine to continue the family tradition. Cameron was able to help Stella Henry (Vernee Watson-Johnson) when she had a stroke because he knew the signs to look for when a person is having a stroke.

Cameron wants to make sure that Joss and the people that he cares about are safe. Cameron was upset when Franco was fatally shot by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Cameron wants to make sure that no one that he loves meets with a violent end. Cameron was upset when Joss was threatened at Kelly’s by Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller).
Joss told Cameron that she would be safe because her mother Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would protect her. Cameron went to the gym to work off his frustration and told Jason that Joey had acted in a threatening way to him and Joss. Cameron wants to get into shape to protect Joss. He might want to help Jason by getting involved with Jason and Carly’s mafia organization. Cameron would be following in his father Zander Smith’s (Chad Brannon) footsteps if he were to get into the mob.
