General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Burned Her Bridges With Jason Morgan But Her Heart Hangs On

General Hospital viewers will remember that when Britt went on the run with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) the two of them vocalized their love for one another and consummated their relationship. Even before that, General Hospital viewers will remember that Jason became more and more protective of Britt as she acted as his eyes and ears in the hospital, feeding him information on the head of the hospital, bad guy Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Jason was drawn to Britt much earlier than when they went on the run, and she to him although it really didn’t heat up until they fled Port Charles. Britt, who had not been serious about anyone since she was engaged to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) years ago, really gave Jason her heart!

General Hospital Updates – Britt Westbourne Aligned Herself With Jasper Jacks And Even Had Spite Sex With Him

General Hospital viewers will recall that when Jason had to break things off with Britt because of marrying Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) he really didn’t give Britt a very good explanation. But to Jason, the marriage is business – mob business – and he thought he was protecting Britt by not giving her any details that the marriage is only a business arrangement! Britt then got acquainted – VERY acquainted – with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), basically having spite sex with him in a one-night stand, and made a point of strutting into the Metro Court restaurant with him afterward, in full view of Carly and Jason! Jax has his reasons to stay aligned with Britt and also even finds an ally in her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) because both are angry at Jason, for different reasons. General Hospital viewers know that Carly’s marriage plans to Jason endanger her daughter with Jax, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in Jax’s opinion and Liesl is mad at Jason for hurting Britt!

Britt Westbourne Still Loves Jason Morgan And He Still Loves Her

General Hospital viewers can tell that Britt still loves Jason but she is denying it to herself and pushing her feelings down. Jason still loves her, and it has been obvious in his actions. General Hospital viewers will recall a recent episode when Jason headed to Britt’s office at General Hospital to find Jax venting to her about him! Jax then confronted Jason in front of Britt about the dangers of Jason’s and Carly’s engagement to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Jason swore that he was doing everything to keep Carly and Joss safe but it wasn’t good enough for Jax.

Britt could see Jax’s accusations were hard on Jason, and Jason had come looking for her out of concern, fearing the Novaks might target her because of their history. Britt clapped back, reminding Jason they are history and he wished he could help her more with their untenable situation caused by Jason doing what he had to do – namely marrying Carly! Britt’s pushing Jason away and pushing her feelings for him down and denying them will not work for long, and she begins to face the consequences of those actions as her broken heart becomes too much to bear!
