General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is happy that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) finally has her life back. With the threat of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) no longer looming over her, Maxie can focus on putting her life back together. And that means Maxie can finally see if she and Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) have any kind of romantic future. But even if she doesn’t realize it just yet, Britt may have developed feelings for Austin herself.

Britt has a difficult time in the romance department. Years ago, she and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) tried and failed to have a relationship. And even more recently, Britt fell hard for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who ended up marrying Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). And then Jason died, leaving Britt will a lot of unresolved feelings. She has thrown herself into work, and her position at General Hosptial as Chief of Staff. But even through all of that, she managed to strike up a friendship with Austin,
GH Spoilers – Dr. Britt Westbourne has encouraged Maxie Jones to pursue Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt
And although Britt has been encouraging Maxie to pursue things with Austin, part of her reasoning may be to take herself out of the equation. Britt doesn’t want to be hurt once again. If Maxie and Austin get together, then she likely feels that any feelings that she may have for Austin will just fade away. But that doesn’t mean she won’t be jealous of them, and it may be difficult for her to hide those feelings. Perhaps, deep down, Britt will hope that things don’t work out for Maxie and Austin.
General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones deserves her shot at happiness!
Britt would never try to come between Maxie and Austin, given everything that Maxie has been through in the past year. Letting Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) raise her baby in order to hide the infant from Peter was extremely difficult for Maxie. Britt will certainly put Maxie’s best interest before anything else. But if things don’t work out for Maxie and Austin, a part of Britt may hope she and Austin can have a go at it. Britt may not be ready for love just yet, but she’s waiting in the wings for when that time finally comes.

I do not want Britt with Austin at all. I wish the show would give Drew and Britt a chance as a couple. Britt and Austin would not look good at all I don’t see any chemistry at all with Roger and Kelly T at all.
