General Hospital spoilers reveal a more quiet pier with only two mob families left in Port Charles. It was almost a shock to hear Selina Wu say there were once Five Families and now there’s just her and the Corinthos crime family. So, Cyrus Renault is needed ASAP.
General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Needs Her Brother To Spar With
What was the point in turning Cyrus into Laura Collins’ half-brother if he was going to be carted away to prison less than a year later? Genie Francis and Jeff Kober have so much chemistry as siblings and work so naturally around one another. Between them and Emmy-winning soap vet Michael E. Knight, it was a sibling threesome we wanted to know better.
Knight’s Martin Grey is still there having a romance with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), but this is a mainly off-screen romance as we barely see the characters. Laura got to know this brother when they were hiding out from the bad guys for a good two months or so, but Cyrus is still lingering behind bars and is needed for this sibling trio to develop. It seems like a plot point the writers just threw out there to see how fans would react and then dropped it because they couldn’t figure out what else to do with Cyrus.
A New Port Charles Cult?
The last we saw Cyrus, Laura was visiting him in prison and he told her he had found religion. Laura laughed her head off like we all did and it was one of the most genuine and humorous scenes we had seen in months. Laura just did not believe her brother and he seemed offended. With his alleged newfound religion, Cyrus could save someone in prison and get an early release.
Of course, he would head right back to Port Charles and start spreading his religion. Perhaps he will even have followers and turn it into some sort of cult. Yes, we only recently had Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and Dawn of Day, but what if Cyrus really believes what he is selling people and or at least makes Laura believe that he believes it. This would give him a cover to start another mob war. The question is — can he handle Selina Wu (Lydia Look)? Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see if Cyrus returns.
We don’t need Cyrus Renault back at G H. He was awful person there . To good connection to any one. Julian Jerome would more beneficial on the show to Ava and his family.
