General Hospital Spoilers – Why Is Elizabeth Webber Single?
We still haven’t figured out why Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) would be available to begin with since she was happily married a year ago and there was absolutely no reason for GH to kill Franco Baldwin since they weren’t parting ways with Roger Howarth, who played the quirky former serial killer character. Instead, they brought him back as Austin Holt and did nothing with him.
But alone and available Elizabeth is, and this soap has spent months trying to make something happen between Rebecca Herbst and Michael Easton’s Hamilton Finn, but it’s just not happening because the actors, no matter how good they are, have absolutely no romantic chemistry. The characters are not compatible at all and don’t even play off one another at all. She doesn’t seem as strong-willed as usual and he doesn’t seem as quirky as usual. They just don’t work together and GH has to stop trying to make something out of nothing. It’s painful to watch and we’ve had enough of it.
General Hospital Updates – A New Chance For Drew Cain?
However, if Elizabeth has to be single, there is another man out there for her who just returned to Port Charles. And it’s someone she used to love. Liz fell for Drew Cain when he was going by the name Jake Doe and nobody ever believed he was Jason Morgan yet. And in one day’s worth of scenes, we can see the chemistry between Herbst and Cameron Mathison. GH needs to go here, and not go there with Finn.
As to who Finn should be with, just bring back Hayden (Rebecca Budig) already and end the man’s misery. This would also end Violet’s (Jophielle Love) misery and give her parents, whose portrayers DO have chemistry together, something more meaningful to do than hospital banter between colleagues. We need the Hayden mystery to end, so bringing her back is the best answer. Then, all might be right in Elizabeth and Finn’s worlds again — as brother-in-law and sister-in-law. The only one that matched Finn was Hayden! Anna or Liz dont match him.. Even when he played Sylas and with Sam,they didnt have chemistry. He had good chemistry with Michelle who played Nina.
